Plo Koon He gets his information from legends. IG-88 had less than 10 seconds of screen time throughout the entire movie, he can't exactly get any information just by looking at him. Putting "legends" in the title mainly implies the information stated is from legends material, not the character itself.

In the book Tales of the Bounty Hunters I loved the start of IG-88 story especially how the writer showed IG-88 waking up. I want spoil it for you but if you have never read "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" I recommend giving it a chance especially the IG-88 story. All the stories take place during and in between the Orignal Trilogy and the start of IG-88 story is very clever. But the part about the Death Star was a little to much and for me the low point to a otherwise Amazing and brilliantly written story.

I love the IG-88 origin story in the novel "Tales of the Bounty Hunters", if you haven't read it please do, I know its no longer lore but the author used an awesome way to tell the switching on of the droid, I promise its really cool story telling, if you do read it let me know what you thought in a reply I love to hear your opinion.

if ig-88 had tried to start his Droid Revolution during the Clone Wars and managed to upload his programming into the entire separatist droid army I think that would be the most likely time when it would have worked because I'm pretty sure they were roughly 1 quintillion droids in the Galaxy at that time and if they were all as smart and efficient as ig-88 it was pretty much guaranteed he would have been able to pull off his Revolution

Really dislike the term "Legends" when concerning Star Wars, because in my opinion it was a huge mistake for Disney to throw away so much canon lore and displease many old fans of the franchise. That being said these videos are still very interesting and entertaining.

well it makes sense the old Eu was a jumbled mess with very little communication between writers with alot of conflicting information and redundant edition's to the lore as much as I like hearing about legend's it gets pretty hard to follow Disney needed a clean slate before it could start moving forward and the only way to do that was to cut Eu down severely

Anthony Rodriguez True, but the old EU was really a fantastic in-depth jumbled mess. Not much of it conflicted it with each other and the bits that did weren't that terrible or overly noticeable. Honestly Disney only got rid of the old EU because they wanted to make money by any means, And if it means upsetting/losing fans then so be it. Not to forget essentially creating a copy and paste movie. They clearly aren't in it to please their customers/fans, but to make an easy profit.

Anthony Rodriguez I know a fair few people like what Disney are doing and yes it has it's advantages. But all in all it is a very poor move on Disney's side as it does show very little customer/fan focus. It does seem we are in an age of where these big companies throw glitter on any old fertilizer and fool people in to thinking it's the next best thing.

SuperGhostuk in all honesty I feel like Star wars need's much less fan service to many decisions are made with fan service in mind to the point that storytelling suffered for example in the book Star wars death troopers the book created a real atmosphere of dread that any character could meet a mysterious and violent end and since none of the characters were introduced previously anything could happen however the tension began to fade when Doctor Kody found han solo and Chewbacca in solitary confinement because we knew that no matter what happened han solo and Chewbacca were going to survive alot of tension was lost almost every time they were the focus of a scene with 2 exceptions when Chewbacca is sick and the climax of the book I feel like you are exaggerating when you say Disney is sprinkling glitter on fertilizer alot of the new cannon is actually pretty good like sidio ithano rebels and the story behind c-3po's red arm

No the revolution would've failed, other droids were structurally too flimsy and or clumbsy to purge the galaxy(The mind is willing, but the frame is weak.). But yes, i definitely think IG-88A could've killed everyone in starwars, if he had a factory that could mass produce his model to his original specifications. 😎🦾⚡
