This game was more of a chess match meets fighter. You had to side step Tekken style and know how to capitalize on openings. I loved this game man.

If there were a Soul Calibur-style SW game, I'd be all for it especially if it had some non-canon EU characters (i.e. Mara Jade, Kyle Katarn, Starkiller, Revan to name a few). Also instead of just a random stormtrooper, put TR-8R in there.

This game had Mara Jade. Starkiller and Revan weren't created yet and they probably couldn't figure out how to incorporate Kyle Katarn into the game. He had all kinds of weapons plus a lightsaber and a very powerful beard.

MegaYoYo I remember unlocking him many years ago. When I was a kid never noticed things like reskinned characters. I just wish someone would post the vader lightning cuz it looked so brutal!

@@MegaYoYo no he's not. Mara Jade was the Luke Skywalker clone. Vader was a unique character in this game. The clones were: Luke Skywalker - Mara Jade Boba Fett - Jodo Kast Han Solo - Stormtrooper Princess Leia - Princess Leia!(slave outfit)

Yeah, this game, while I hold fond memories of it, is just objectively horrible. Graphically for the time it was fine, but all the awful out-of-character moves and horrid mechanics that existed in the game are just awful. I know people like to chuckle at a Shoryuken in a Star Wars game but seriously the recycled character animations and the poorly thought out supers are just plain bad. A Star Wars fighting game is legitimately a fairly good idea but the property deserves much better than this.

+William Thunder Hawk I complete agree with the controls. If it were somehow remade with modern fighting game controls it would amazing. Unfortunately Disney would probably never allow it.
