The downfall of the republic has a less bigger knife, order 66 has a more big knife since basically all of Obi-Wan's friends and comrades died there and the clones their allys and friends wich they stablished a good relationship with betrayed them, and Anakin's betrayal has the biggest knife of them all simbolyzing how much it affected Obi-Wan that his best friend/apprentice/brother betrayed him and the republic and turned to the dark side, it all fits perfectly!
