@@von_reginald4800 absolutely!!! It has to be opened. It is very cool and incredibly detailed for something so small. If I had only got 1 I still would have opened it. Again, just shocked at how small it is.

Opened mine too. I’d love a 2nd one as a backup, but it was too tempting not to open and I’m super glad I did. It’s really incredible. Tiny as all get out and impeccably detailed. One of my favorites for sure. I balanced a R2 and 3P0 on the back on either side of the center engine, like they are while traveling to Mon Eisley in A New Hope. It displays fantastically!

Hopefully we'll see a Tatooine-centric Battle Pack with this Landspeeder, maybe with a different back deck with holders for C-3PO and R2-D2, maybe a squad of stormtroopers, or even 1st gen Tusken Raiders. There are a few other landspeeders from Tatooine that could flush out a Battle Pack as well.

@@Teletran35 yea unfortunately it never really hit retail. This was the only way we’ve been able to get it. My guess is it will show up at discount and overstock stores!

Great info. My vault set arrived literally while I was watching this video! [Had to pause for awhile]. I only bought one set, so I'm still not sure on opening, especially if the landspeeder releases again somehow. The others are cool to have, but none that I need to open since I'm still hoping to get a true OT A-Wing.

@@dk6419 fingers crossed everything is good with the QC. One of my sets was pristine. The other one the boxes had a little damage. The interceptor had tape on the box for some reason.

With how small it is I honestly wish they had added something, like some rocks or moisture farm stuff, to at least make a scene out of it.

@@rolfathan that would have been cool. Unfortunately, I don’t think their license allows for playsets, terrain or creatures. But that would be cool if they were able to figure that out.

@@seanmc7128 yea. The vault has timed releases. Because this was so difficult to get at retail it sold out in an hour which was way longer than I had expected it to last.

@@seanmc7128 unfortunately, this should have rolled out in stores last fall. It never made it to retail in the US. The vault exclusive set it really the only way we have been able to get it. Unless found internationally. Hopefully, this will show up in discount stores in a few months.

I got my 2 sets yesterday. One package was missing 1 Landspeeder and had 2 A-Wings. Many of my ships in both packages were mislabeled (had wrong vehicle inserts). Exampla, the Royal Interceptors are labeled Vulture Droids, as was the landspeeder, and my A-wings were also labeled either landspeeder or Vuture Droid. I submitted a ticket to Jazwares, let's see what they say. I'm more upset 1 landspeeder was missing, was going to open 1 box, display the other .

@@josephbailey3780 I have got to say. I am shocked at how terribly BAD the QC is on these sets. For a premium item the fact that they can’t get this right is a HUGE problem. I am with you. I would be extremely frustrated when I got this set only for that item and it didn’t even have it.

Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of issues with the vault version of the speeder some of them are not being included in packaging some of them are not including the figures in the packaging for the land speeder and some even have missing engines. The quality control on jazzware's has been abysmal lately

Landspeeder is supposed to be 3.4 meters. Very small vehicle, as seen in the movie. This is close to 1:48 scale. Hotwheels and TOMY versions are similarly scaled. The figures at 1:48 scale would have been much larger. Kind of like how a race car driver barely fits inside the cockpit,

Releasing this as a chase has to be the most bone headed decision in this line thus far. Why is it so damn hard to get all the ANH characters for the Falcon

@@coffeengames8865 certainly the decision wasn’t the best although I do get the rationale. Now that I have it in hand. I think they wanted to add more features to this that would couldn’t do in the scout class. Also, have such a small vehicle at that price point they wanted to keep the value. That said, they are planning to rerelease this in a battle pack set in the future with slightly different deco. I just really wish it had hit retail shelves. This was the last item that we will see as a unique mold as a chase for the rest of the line. I was at this point that they determined chase/rares would only be redeco.

If you would like I have the hot wheels one I took some pictures of it with ibis wan( hes slightly too bid) c3p0 and r2d2 and a rebel pilot ( I 3d printed and painted) and various other figures around it but I will need an email to send to as I dont do social thingys😂😂😂😂

This is actually the second time farm boy Luke appeared in a vehicle. The first one was a millennium falcon set that came with 2 normal tie fighters

@@brandonthetoyandgamecollector Most collectors already had the first falcon set so buying that exclusive Escape the Death Star set was out of the question and then this release is a rare chase which is ridiculous. Hopefully Jazwares release him with his T16 Skyhopper or at least make Farmboy Luke easily obtainable for collectors that have been there since the beginning and don’t want to shill out money for rereleases of vehicles we already own.
