@@LM-1378 Well, yeah you need a capture card to record it. For this playthrough I was using a component upscaler and then that hdmi output went into my capture card. But in the future I want to use an hdmi converter directly on the Xbox output to have as little noise on the signal as possible.

My dad played this game so much that he nearly broke it. Of course, Star Wars: Obi-Wan already had many game-breaking moments in it: things like entering certain rooms and just randomly dying for no reason, or using the "Force Slowdown" and suddenly glitching the game so that everything moves at slow speed.

You can't, unfortunately. Microsoft only did backwards compatibility for a limited amount of original Xbox games. They released the last wave a few months and said they're done and not planning on doing anymore. It's a shame because there are still so many great titles from that era that don't yet have re-releases on modern systems.

I remember playing the Kyle Katarn/Dark Forces games. After not playing for 20 years, I came across the original disk I had. It wouldn't work because of a compatibility issue. I was bummin. As much as I'd love to see a reboot of the game... there's just no money in it. Sadness.

This was the first game like this I played as a kid. I loved this game. Granted, Halo, KOTOR, TimeSplitters 3, Enter the Matrix, Tony Hawk’s Underground, The Suffering and several other games stole my attention not long later. I have fond memories of this though.

This game needed an extra year of dev time at the very least. There's a lot of missing potential levels, and no "connective tissue" (read: cutscenes) between levels and settings. I feel like they rushed this because the hype for _The Phantom Menace_ might have been dying down, and _The Attack of the Clones_ was about to be released. The correct decision would have been to give this game something like an extra year and a half of development time, and then release it as a tie-in game for _The Attack of The Clones_ (like the Phantom Menace PC game before it). Most of the content from _The Phantom Menace_ used here could serve as a prelude to _The Attack of the Clones_ in the game, and then assets could be re-used for the actual events from _The Attack of the Clones_ (and of course, add even more assets of top of it). Something as simple as using another skybox and lighting could do wonders to legitimize the re-usage of Coruscant's and Naboo's assets for _The Attack of the Clones._ Because it would require more time, brainstorming to re-implement "un-eventful" settings like Anakin's & Padme's stay in Naboo, (possibly thinking of adventure/RPG-heavy scenarios akin to Tatooine's exploration, trading and negotiations in _The Phantom Menace_ PC game that came before) having a good base to work with would be ideal. This would kill 2 birds with one stone, as by default, _The Attack of the Clones_ is a movie with less settings and events easily adapted into an action game. With more assets ready to be deployed, more adventure and action segments/levels could be made much faster; the gameplay and physics would be fine tuned. The game would have been much bigger, better, and everyone would come out satisfied. What we got instead was a half baked game, with huge potential, but severely lacking in many departments. Also, _The Phantom Menace_ had already had plenty of tie-in games, while the movie that followed feels extremely impoverished videogame-wise.

1:59:50 The ambush section is easy to manage, but I guess you couldn't figure it out. When the force fields become active just run to one of them and put your back against one of the corners. Now just wait for the droids to show up. Now all you'll have to do is reflect their blaster shots back at them, and every once in awhile use force push to slam them into walls. Before you know it, no more droids.

This is odd, but I can't remember this 🎮game🎮 for whatever reason? I thought I had bought every game? Episode I, Jedi Power Battles, a Pod Racer game, Episode II, Episode III, the Bounty Hunter game, and the Lego series. As well as many more on multiple systems. Although if this was a Xbox exclusive, that may be it. I didn't get an Xbox until later on. Damn I missed out, this looks decent! Figures....lol. However once Knights of the Old Republic came out, I HAD to have an Xbox! So many incredible games back then BEFORE THE DARK TIMES, BEFORE DISNEY!
