I like space games to fly spaceships not turtles.

No Man's Sky still the best, especially with the latest update. the only thing missing from NMS is handmade quest and location, or even procedurally made ones (but really focus on the narration/rpg aspect, not the exploration/grind that base NMS is)

I haven’t played NMS, but it seems clear it seems to be the best at space exploration. But the missing thing, as you say, is narrative and quests. That’s not an easy thing to implement and likely part of the reason Starfield doesn’t have the same depth of exploration found in NMS.

@@vigvillain well, technically, it can be implemented. you can make an algorythm that makes quests, and well made and varied ones, but it would take a long time just to put the algorythm in place. i know they are a company that can put the work to achieve it, but, we will probably never see it, since the goal of NMS is to have no goal, the goal of the game is the grind along the journey. in cube world there was procedural quests that were somewhat nicely made. quests, or jobs, are thing i would love to see in games, like in GTA vice city. you could have Police missions or firefighter. i would love to see that for something like city skilines. you do a big city and then you play in it. And NMS could implement somehitng like that, cargo transport, people transport, cargo security, artifact hunter, whatever. that's something not so hard to implent, and if they make it procedural, you can have tons a little variations and so on. that would be sick.

The latest trailer of Outlaws showed us a totally linear and barren tunnel section. Where were the traps, clever puzzles, hidden treasures, side tunnels and all that, which used to be trademarks of Ubisoft world design? Totally barren, totally empty areas. This game will be trash, and no fanboy whining and lies will change that.

I don’t disagree?

I don't see a turtle only a ridiculously boring design.🤣

Like it or not, Bethesda games are at least fun to screw around in. Starfield may have a lot of flaws, but there is that. This isn't even getting into mods. Mods do not justify Bethesda's utter laziness one bit, especially with their cynical attempts to monetize them, but the fact is they at least have that.. and Ubisoft games don't. So what is even the point?

Yeah, I like Starfield quite a bit. I’m just talking about the article comparing the way the two games implement loading.
