It is obvious she has always been jealous of Lucas and Spielberg and as a woman wanted desperately to show up the men. But she lacks their talent and vision. If she wants to out do George, her last hurrah should be to make a really good Howard the duck tv show. Make it great. George couldn’t make a good Howard the duck project, so she could get her W and finally just leave.

To be fair, George Lucas was more lucky than a visionary. It’s was luck that he took the merchandising rights because the studio didn’t think Star was would be a hit. But remember nobody really liked the Return of the Jedi. Nobody like the sequels. And that was all George. He couldn’t distance himself from the characters he created, and created new ones. That’s why Darth Vader build C-3PO, served with R2D2, Yoda was Chewbaka’s roll dog before Han Solo…..yet not a single world in ep4,5, and 6 speaks to those relationships. J.K. Rowling is in the same boat, only I’m pretty sure she just ripped of Star Wars.

Kennedy is probably most pissed off because she wants to end her career on a high note but because of her mismanagement, Bob is taking away the keys to her franchise for the most part. She must’ve forgotten the golden rule Bob Iger giveth, and Bob Iger taketh away. Personally, I think it’s only a matter of time before she is either pushed out the door or she quits. It just depends on which way the wind is blowing. If she feels like she might be pushed out the door she might resign before that to save face. Then wonder who will take her place, I feel it would be Dave Filoni because he still has at least a little bit of fan support, though that support would be much larger if he wasn’t trying some of the same shit that Kennedy has been trying.

First of all, Iger is the head of Disney. The buck stops with him. He is the one responsible for The Acolyte. He could have given Kennedy an unequivocal No last summer when they were fighting over whether to ever release The Acolyte. Second of all, although Kennedy is THE WORST, Iger is the head of Disney. The buck stops with him. He is responsible for whatever he lets Kennedy do. Last year, when he and Kennedy were fighting over whether to release The Acolyte, he could have said No, but he relented.

I don't get how she still has a job and certainly does not deserve how much she is getting. Isn't she like one of the most wealthy women in hollywood. @sardonicspartan9343 Well, I would say almost dead, yet they have perhaps a sliver of a chance to redeem themselves at Disney Lucasfilm... ...If they replace the management as of early 2025, shut down all further projects following Skeleton and draw up a new creative who gets Star Wars. In the interim focus of marketing, any merch still viable at this point. Bearing in mind the figures right now as far as I can tell aren't selling well because of the ongoing controversy.
