Remembered playing the computer version of this and capturing all of the rebel leaders. The buggers had a nasty habit of escaping. I got so miffed by this I managed to recapture them all and assign them to a Alderaan then giving the old death star a test firing... The senate was not amused, but hey no rebel leaders ...

To be fair, if they remembered they would have used it on the first hit scored against the Imperials, or perhaps specifically against an AP hit. In the former case, the Imperials would have probably rolled another dice, which would have influenced the outcome of future rolling and made it different. (for better or for worse) There for it is not right to assume that it would have been the last episode. It still bugs me though!

Wedge Antilies Served as part of Phoenix Squadron in the Early days of the rebellion, after defecting from a high-performing Imperial Flight Academy installation. He later became a member of Red Squadron, in time for the attack on the original Death Star, though only Red Three (Antilles) and Red Five (Skywalker) survived. He also fought at Hoth, as part of Rouge Squadron which cut down the ATAT units with tow-cables - Again, Wedge and Luke flew as part of the same group. In the Battle of Endor, Red Squadron flew again, Wedge being one of two people to fire short to destroy the Second Death Star (The other being Gold Leader Lando Calrisian in the Millennium Falcon). He formed Phantom Squadron a little before the Liberation of Kashyyyk (After the original trilogy), but were dissolved because they acted outside of the command structure (Though General Leia Organa was the person who urged Wedge to begin the attack). They were reformed for the Battle of Jakku, and afterward Wedge settled down to be an instructor at some flight academy built by the New Republic.

Weird that geonosis produces anything, considering it's a ghost planet after the Death Star was built.

I'm no expert on the timeline, but this probably takes place in the couple of years between the deathstar being built and the planet being sterilized.

The details are never explained to us, but it's implied that the Geonosians were slaughtered after they made the Death Star, as a no-witnesses sort of deal. Ah, it doesn't matter much.

Only leaders in the leader pool can be sent to oppose missions. Leaders on missions can’t be sent to oppose missions.

You don’t need a ground unit to destroy the rebel base. Any unit will do as long as the base is revealed.

You don't need ground units to destroy the rebel base. You just need units in the system, no rebel units in the system, and the system be revealed.

Leia cant change her mind ..once the leader is placed on a mission ..she's out of the pool and cant be used to contest imperial missions .....thats the whole point of placing her on the card before the turn starts.....

Chyrnobyl66 I think in episode one Ben said that in this AI version you alternate missions between human and AI. So they are just planning at the start and not locking in.... I'd go check ep 1, but I'm too lazy

Normally the Rebels would do all the things at once, so basically it would 'tap' the leader, but they haven't really done anything, since it's alternating. That said, considering the Empire does the same, as far as I can tell, it's fair.

Once somebody is assigned to a mission they can't be unassigned to oppose or move troops. Only leaders in the leader pool can do that.
