I don't mind Time Travel as long as Dave Filoni's working on it. My big fears will arise when other people making content for Star Wars decide to play around with it.

Sokolniki I think only the Lothal temple had it and now it seems to be destroyed
@aeris446 жыл бұрын
I like how it was executed cuz it wasn't like Ezra messed up time. It was still pretty linear and meant to happen.
@danielblair44136 жыл бұрын
@ Sokolniki I don't know why people are against time travel being used in Star Wars. The Force not only binds things in the present, but throughout time itself, so that includes past and future. So, having a world between worlds within the force that allows time travel to be possible makes perfect sense to me.
@Flora09666 жыл бұрын
Sokolniki Look up the Bedlam Spirits. Star Wars has Omnipotent beings so who cares about Time travel
@enderkingdev3686 жыл бұрын
I agree with what aeris said. It seems time travel is not being used to alter events. Rather the events are happening as they are meant to happen. Ahsoka was seen in the doorway at the end of season 2 which we now know she survived because of Ezra, instead of Ezra "bringing her back to life" by time traveling to save her. Side note I did some searching and it seems Legends also had a few instances of time travel. So it isn't a new concept in Star Wars.

Also, notice Palpatine comes out the door Kanan was in, and that sinister music, I think that was a vision Palpatine displayed to trick Ezra to show up to Coruscant. And force fire is an ability from Legends where one rubs molecules via force to start and control a fire, one of, if not the hardest abilities to control.
@aeris446 жыл бұрын
Raptorus77 Yeah I didn't think of it as first but Palpatine def planned it all out to get Ezra to get there and bring him in. And yeah what Palpatine did was like what he and Dooku did in CW.

You also realise that there are not that many doors but you can access any time and space from there, so I'd say any door can leads anyway. Also why not just pull in Ezra who was standing right in fron of the damn thing if Palpatine was the one tricking him?
@TheTruMan1966 жыл бұрын
Gergő Kaufmann Palpatine couldn't enter the doorway without Ezra, so if he wanted to gain access then he needs Ezra on his side, that's how I see it. Because when Ahsoka cuts the fire he immediately pulls his hand back out of the portal

I feel Palpatine was trying to lure out Ezra to enter the portal so he can get thru, because I think you need light to open it as seen with using the painting of the Daughter and then dark to close it as seen with using the Son. Ezra has connected with both, of course being stronger in light. So Palpatine wasn't able to enter it or open it up at all cuz he's as dark as my savings account.

Not only am I happy that Filoni didn't have Vader spare Ahsoka or her escape by some dumb way, and tied the stairway scene all together. But Ahsoka also saved Vader (Anakin) by breaking the floor rather than letting him succumb to the explosion on Malachor.

When you think about it, all those voices they were hearing were all happening at the same time in that place from their point of view. Does anybody else think that when Ezra saved Ashoka, Ashoka was trying to save vader? the temple was about to explode and they both knew...so why did she create a hole in the ground where he was standing if not to save him? i mean it makes sense because vader lives for obvious reasons and Ashoka would`t want Anakin to die...
@danielblair44136 жыл бұрын
@ Vincent Esposito No, Ahsoka did the saving of Vader, Ezra had nothing to do with that. Vader would've killed Ahsoka before he fell if Ezra hadn't pulled her out. It was a matter of a nick in time the way things played out.
@R369B6 жыл бұрын
I love seeing how excited to see Ahsoka, I'm not alone! Those blue flames & blue ropes we did see in the final arc of Clone Wars when Sidious & Tyrannus attempted to use Sith Sorcery to create an imprisoned image of Sifo Dias and break Yoda's will. But now the portal has been closed and destroyed so I don't think time travel will be an issue. I want to know if Sidious was only able to use Sith Sorcery to locate Ezra and Ahsoka and THAT gave him access to the World Between World's since he Would have used that power without a doubt to control EVERYTHING. Love you Ahsoka Tano!!! Love the reactions lol. PS: it's Malachor not Morriband. You are forgiven as your mind had just been blown.
@KyleKatarnChannel6 жыл бұрын
Yeah I realized the mistake as soon as I said it, haha at least I managed not to say Korriban (I'm an old fart). And you're right, Sidious used similar force powers against Maul and Savage, that's actually in my top 5 duels of the series. And as for Sith Sorcery, that does make sense but I think it's something more, I think Sidious has a device that allows him to create a portal on his end, or at least access one. That flaming blue chalice didn't exactly look portable, I think he was in a room in the Imperial Palace designed for his random Sith meddlings. Such a place has been hinted at in Marvel Lando when they mention the Emperor's hidden "art" collection, and I think it's briefly mentioned in Aphra or Vader as well.

Take a look again. What do you think binds Rey and Kylo together? Remember when Rey is standing by the Falcon and the water the splashes her reaches Kylo? That's all the proof I need that the World Between Worlds is involved, and I haven't even mentioned Rey's mirror... both of those are connected to the World Between Worlds, I'd be willing to put money on it. I have a feeling that Episode IX is going to go a very, very long way in improving viewing of the already excellent Episode VIII.
@TheCroJordan6 жыл бұрын
Noah Shively-Blinn I guess that could be it but Rebels explains it and does it in a better way imo. Ep 8 just vaguely throws things out there and lets people take them for what they will. Ep 9 has to deliver and explain a lot of things

TheCroJordan I think that Rian and Filoni were working together in this set up of events. I'm wondering if Morei (spelling?) and Ahsoka's comment (4:09) have more weight than is currently presented. Morei strikes me as a Star Wars version of the legends concerning crows, ravens, and various other birds: escorts for souls. If so, Ahsoka may sense her resurrection by the Daughter is not lasting or that it has a special purpose (such as replacing the Daughter). She's on borrowed time. (Though that may not resolve by series end)

I actually like when Morai told at Ezra to stop Anakin and Ahsoka to fight because the Malachor Temple Is going to crash. "You must stop them before the Temple Is going to crash" She said "What? What can i gonna do?" Asked Ezra confused not understanding what Morai means. That made me laugh. I also actually like where Ezra almost find out that Vader Is Anakin seeing his tormented blue Eye through the broken Mask because he stop thinking about that he killed Younglings and even that he almost choke Padme and Ezra could to see Ahsoka's reaction even She was at back(that Ahsoka tried to tell Anakin that She was at the funeral of Padme). I actually like that scene where Ezra react Anakin and Ahsoka continued to fight without noticing that the Temple Is going to crash. Because season Four was the 18th birthday of Ezra that Thrawn bringing him at Lothal to discover the Truth about Darth Vader.

When Ezra saves Asoka, Vader goes to the Palpatine reporting about it and then emperor finds out about the temple on Lothal as the entry point using Vader's connection to Asoka as Ezra uses his connection with the Kanan. Since we dont see Asoka further down to the timeline in the movies she plays pivotal role for the Rebels in some way. Maybe knowledge they seek? But to what end? Since the empire wasn't defeated. The only thing I can think is this could apply on Kylo or Rey going forward. Loved Clone wars and rebels. This is the best thing happened to SW universe canon wise.
@idkm83866 жыл бұрын
The circle where Palps was projecting had a sith symbol on it, im guessing Kanan scene was a trick by Palps to try to get Ezra to put his hand thru, because we see he cannot step in himself, not unless hes in conctact with Ezra, and we see this again when Palps grabs Ezra, hes starting to step thru, and when Ahsoka cuts, Palps hand is bashed out.

First a heads up. I am no StarWars expert but I do really like interesting stories so here is something interesting I found with my limited knowledge about StarWars: What I find most intriguing about these statues is that they clearly represent Light, Dark and the middle. When Ezra interacted with the Light he pretty much interacted with it like any other time he used HIS force. When he interacted with the dark it took him a lot more work followed by him being completely without power for a long time. For me this shows that light and dark in the force are different in some aspects. It also shows that while weak, Ezra still has a small connection to the dark side as he was still able to eventually use the dark part of the force. I believe that a character like Obi-Wan would not have been able to interact with the dark part as he has no connection to it. As for the middle I don't know for sure. My best guess is in order to interact with that part you would need to be more connected to the force, not just one or the other side meaning that Bendu or other Beings of his type could interact with it.

Damn, Ashoka managed to (partially) block a Force attack from Palpatine. Yes, she needed Ezra's help to keep it up long-term, and she seemed more worn out than Palpatine at the end, but still, just how powerful is Rebels Ashoka? Previously, as far as I know, only Yoda was ever shown directly blocking a strike from Palpatine through the Force.

Why didn't they just have ian mcdermott do the Chancellor and Emperor in Clone wars. The original voice actor from clone wars was a very close match to Ian. But after his passing and they brought in the other guy? Who does him in 5s arc about the chips. Just broke my Emerson. Because he didn't sound even close.

Disney wants to use this canon "A World Between Worlds" to create an else-world story line erasing the latest Star Wars Trilogy Episode 7-9. I guess that in a later seasons of "The Mandalorian" something will happen in the "A World Between Worlds" and create a new story line erasing the latest Star Wars Trilogy Movies Episode 7-9, Flashpoint or Quantum Realm style.

Ok but Mark Hamill is done with Star Wars and if an alternate future is created without Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker I’m going to be a very hard sell.

Totally subscribing to your channel now. When I watch Star Wars reaction vids, I want people to REACT. Especially if they react like me LOL! You certainly do that. Can't stand when I see people stone-faced while watching these episodes. They are far to epic not to scream and yell while watching!

Also, I have to say that its pretty funny that people call Rey a Mary Sue and not Ahsoka when the latter a) was introduced as a previously never heard of kid apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, b) repeatedly survived encounters with powerful opponents (ie Ventress, Grievous) as a padawan, c) tanked a Force attack from Palpatine, and d), literally had time travel introduced to the franchise to undo her death. Don't get me wrong, I like her, I like them both- I just find the difference in how they're treated by the fandom amusing.

I think the time travel is going to be specific to the story of The Clone Wars and Rebels. The fact that the temple and gateway were destroyed kind of suggests that. The only other way is if there are more temples on different planets acting as gateways. As for this story it completely fits and strengthens the connective tissue. This is what I love about the animated series. In the Clone Wars, Lucas helped sometimes, gave advice and even approval on certain things. I mean of course he can, he created this universe and understands it in a way no one else really can. Other than that, it was Filoni and the team who created the amazing Clone Wars without too much interruption. Compare this to Kathleen, who knows nothing of Star Wars, pulling the strings with all kinds of ominous agendas and bad direction. A reason why the new trilogy kinda sucks. This is why Rebels works so much better than that new trilogy. It's made by someone who deeply understands what is going on and has amazing connective tissue to make everything seem worth it. The new trilogy however seems like it's been made by people who have only had 1 week to find out as much about Star Wars as they possibly can. With dirty Kathleen Kennedy in the shadows acting like a puppet master. You can clearly see with Rebels that Kathleen or any other Disney scum don't poke their nose in too much. The new trilogy doesn't have even half the emotional weight and investment that this has. It's almost like you have a 1 year old and and 20 year old and you got them both to complete a puzzle each. Filoni is the 20 year old, who completes the puzzle with all the parts connection everything together, seeing the full picture with the build up and time taken to complete the puzzle worth it. The 1 year old is Kathleen, Rian, JJ and whoever else, slamming pieces together, putting them in their mouth, and even adding things that aren't even part of the puzzle onto it like a different toy or completely different piece. Cannot wait to see what Filoni brings next. I hope Rian Johnson and JJ Abrams can learn a thing or two (and hopefully hundreds of things) about what makes Star Wars tick and flow.

This makes me wonder,if they might do something like this with Luke. I mean you hear Rey and Kylo's voices. I would not care as long as the bring Luke back ha ha. The past to episodes of Rebels are better than SJW.

It seems like the Time Travel Bridge was connected to the Father, Son, and Daughter, so when their temple was destroyed, I believe access to the bridge was as well.
