But you can easily tell who has or hasn't seen Clone Wars from their reaction to certian things in Rebels. Like these two haven't seen clone wars, hence they had no reaction when Luminara was mentioned. But the Normies were like "Wait what? She survived?" Lol

Dave Filoni was George's padawan in TCW and Disney had limited Dave's budget but he understood what SW was all about and in this series he still was able to show real SW not like the Sequels and Ahsoka was something that George allowed Dave to create and he integrated her into this series. Stand and applaud for Jason Issacs, he killed it as the Grand Inquisitor. If you read the Darth Vader comics you get a little bit more backstory to him and it’s fascinating! Also as much as liked Rupert Friend when he played The Grand Inquisitor in Obi-Wan Kenobi I still wish they just brought back Jason Issacs.

3:05 Luminara Unduli can be seen in Clone Wars and the prequel movies and she and her apprentice even have some run-ins with a young Ahsoka and her master (in CW).

Rebels came out before the new movies did. 6:49 Rey, Kyle Ren, etc. did not exist. Also Rebels doesn't have filler episodes. What might may seem as an episode that doesn't move the plot forward much still has weight for things to come.

The Inquisitor looks much better in Rebels than in the Obi-Wan show. Also Rebels timeline takes place after the Obi-Wan show and before the Mandalorian show. Thats why i knew hes not dead in Obi-Wan. That was not a shock for me😅

@@marshsundeenthey did just fine making the Pau’ans look long headed and realistic however many years ago in Revenge of the Sith. With the money and technology today, Grand Inquisitor should have looked like his Rebels version in Obi-Wan.

I wish KZbinrs would stop calling episodes filler simply because an episode isn't as jam-packed with action doesn't mean that it's filler. It implies that it doesn't matter and just thrown in. Each of these focus on setting up things to come or reminds you of things from the past. A filler is like Goku learns to drive all episode in dragon ball and it doesn't comes back in the future. And Ezra is 14 now I think he's two days older than Luke and Leia. Sabine is 16.

Ezra is the same age as Luke and Leia, he’s two days older (Ezra is born on the day Palpatine declared the creation of the Empire, Luke and Leia were born two days later). You’re correct that Ezra is 14 in the episodes they’ve watched so far and Sabine is 16 (two years older than Ezra, Luke, and Leia…which I think is what you were thinking about when you wrote two years but meant two days; because you know Sabine’s age is why I think you just mistyped as I’ve misspoken the same way when having similar conversations with friends and had to correct myself; two days/two years it’s easy to flip the time terms around when talking about Ezra, Sabine, Luke, and Leia. I’ve done it accidentally, too). I agree with you about ppl calling episodes filler and that term’s use implies that an episode isn’t important. While that word could be used for some other shows, I don’t think it’s fitting for Star Wars. I can’t think I’ve watched anything Star Wars related that felt like filler in the way it’s usually used with other shows. So I definitely refrain from using the term when watching anything Star Wars because I don’t know how things will go and more often then not plot points, characters, items, conversations, etc from episodes have a way of connecting, not just to later episodes of the same series, but to episodes in other series. So yeah I’m with you on having folks maybe retire the term filler….unless they’ve seen everything and still feel that way afterwards (though I don’t think I’ve heard anyone use it whose seen everything).

Generally they simply wanted to destroy that Cyber-Shipment because those Crystals were a symbol for the Jedi and shouldn't fall into Imperial hands (and they maybe even thought about the fact that the empire wanted to use them) Actually, this was the first hint at the DeathStar in the show as the DeathStar is fueled by Cyber (lots of cyber) which is why over years the empire shipped Cyber through the Galaxy over secret routes

to be fair, there is world of difference between the skill levels of Obi-Wan and Kanan with a lightsaber. Obi-Wan between the prequels and the Clone wars series developed a reputation unmatched by any jedi of his age for getting into fights with full sith and other darksiders and surviving every single time- the grand inquisitor being less of a threat against Obi-Wan is a direct result of that difference in skill level

The spinning helicopter blade the Grand Inquisitor uses is less about effectiveness and more about shock value against a half-trained Jedi. An experienced duelist would be unfazed but a padawan who escaped the purge would not be ready for a surprise.

I think It’s also about keeping their training at a certain level. Same with there force training. Vader doesn’t want any of the inquisitors ever getting good enough that they might try and challenge him.

Rebels it my favorite animated Star Wars series! I can’t wait to see them watch season three and four!(those are my favorites seasons) I’m SUPER excited for Ahsoka because the rebels crew will be co-starring in the series!

Kanan lost his Master when he was ~14, and is mostly self taught. Even though the Inquisitors aren't as strong as full Sith lords, their rotating sabers make up for their skill considerably, and are more than cable of defeating Kanan. The Grand inquisitor isn't much of a match for a full Jedi knight much less Obiwan (even if Obiwan is limited by his PTSD).

Not really. Rebels and Clone Wars is connected of course, but each is essentially it's own story. It's like saying you can't watch the Orginal Trilogy without seeing the Prequels first.

@isaacpaech1430 Yes, TCW came first, but you don't NEED to see it to understand Rebels, as the main focus of this show is on a team of new/original characters. Also, the inclusion of TCW characters comes with Rebels providing you the basic & necessary background information that's relevant to the role/character arc each of these returning characters undertake in THIS show, so you don't have to watch all 7 seasons of TCW to know who these guys are and what's ahead of them. But yes, you can definitely watch TCW first if you want to.

His master , she can be seen in the Phantom Menace and attack of the clones movie with mace windu because he was her master... She has What looks like little piercings on her middle of her forehead and on the bridge of her nose .. Her name was Depa Billaba Grand inquisitors said her name during this episode ... The Kenobi series was very disappointing in many ways not just the grand inquisitor... Literally things were takin from rebels, You'll see what I'm talking about when it happens , Could've been More original and its own type of thing ,,, just bad writing .. If you really want to know what the grand inquisitor species is supposed to look like Obi-Wan talks to one of his species in the revenge of the Sith When he lands on the planet to fight with General grievous, just KZbin search it you'll see what I mean what he should've looked like in the Kenobi series... I forget his exact words "he is here thousands of battle droids" I think Canobie says if you have Warriors of fighting age Now is the time to get them together something like that the videos on KZbin ,I can't put Video link or the comment will be deleted... rebels doesn't really have many flashbacks if at all... It's pretty clear if it's a flashback they make sure they cut away

Just like you can enjoy the Original Trilogy without NEEDING to see the Prequels first, you can enjoy Rebels without needing to see The Clone Wars first. They're connected, but each is still it's own story. Also, TCW characters that appear in Rebels DO get provided the background information that's relevant and important for the audience to know, as it impacts this show.

It may not have an emotional impact as strong as watching TCW, but it is still the relevant information needed to understand WHO Ahsoka is and WHY she's being hunted, and that's what matters here.
