What Episode 7 also really showed for the first time is, that Hera is the leader of the Spectres (Ghost Crew), not the Jedi (Kanan) as would usually be the case. She is the only one who knows about any wider rebellion (connected through Fulkrum)

Later seasons they do go into more detail what the Imperials made Sabine do..And it's really compelling motivation for her.

Darth Vader’s fighter is an advance X1 model, more advanced, and an even more advanced starfighter than what you see here. Also known is the inquisitors starfighter. Vader’s X1 does not have folding wings. It also has a larger hull than the advanced prototype.

You know I never thought about it but I don't think they EVER did flashbacks in this series. But they definitely used storytelling to parse out information and I think it works well.

There are no "filler" episodes in the Filoniverse... These tales are much more intricately put together than you're giving them credit for, as there are multiple connections to Clone Wars and numerous set ups for future stories that form the basis of what we see. "Filler" episodes happen in old network shows that are looking to fill a 22-24 episode order and are juggling schedules of multiple people over a long period - there's not a lot of call for them in this era of 6-8-10-12 episode run orders. We (ought to) get more streamlined stories in the streaming era, structures have changed.

Fulcrum is not a filler thing that is main story cause fulcrum is working against the empire so the fulcrum thing is main story

Star Wars in general hasn't really used a lot of flashback as a storytelling mechanic, at least not in the original and prequel trilogies. Much of it is set around characters revealing backstory through exposition.

There are no filler episodes in Rebels, everything has a purpose and a foundation. There are seeds being planted and things will be relevant down the line! Its weird to keep calling episodes filler when yall havent even seen the whole show to see what happens!?

Yes, they need to pick up the posting pace if they have to complete posting all episodes from this show by August, when Ahsoka releases. Even if they continue posting every other day they will have a few more episodes of season 4 remaining before Ahsoka.

Yeah in a lot of Clone Wars and Rebels flashbacks arent really a thing. They tend to keep things in the present. The past stays in the past they only talk about it.
