Shack, for the love of the Senate, Build more ground troops on your outlying planets. Don't rely on Free Units and Garrisons, Which you don't bother upgrading anyway, because you're concerned about money or pop cap. ground units are cheap as chips, for the same price of a venator, you could build 5 AT-PT's and 5 Saber tanks and still have some left over. you could fully garrison in danger planets, and all it'd cost you is one venator. remember, this game is about ground AND Space, and whilst having control of space is essential, you still need boots on the ground to Hold said ground.

Yeah the Malevolence is kinda crap. It can sit far away and snipe with it's ion caonnon but it's about equal to an ISD in direct combat.

I would suggest moving the army from Endor as there are 6+ planets that you are blockading that need to be capture. Take the endor army to capture these planets and then blockade endor till you can auto resolve it. Just having that army over endor doing nothing is not helpful.

It's not. Tho the republic has been said to have 2 mandator ships (the pride i a mandator). But we don't know how mandators look in canon except for the Mandator IV. The pride will porbably never be canon because it's a fan ship.

Capt. In case you didn't know. What you call "Star Destroyers" are Imperial (class) Star Destroyer. Venators are also star destroyers (Venator class star destroyer).

You have to recruit more phase 2 clones, they’re stronger, and endure more then phase 1 garrisons you have on some planets.

if you're willing to do a season 2 of RaW, you should play the Nojimbre submod for it. It makes literally every part of it better. Fight AI is vastly improved, so they will actively engage nearby targets, and in the process keep out of buzz droids. I think the buzz driods are nerfed, because I've yet to see any of my fight groups melt from them. NTBs have been replaced by the very early Y-Wings, and actually are useful./ I've sent a few wings on the usual suicide run on a carrier, and looked back later to see that they had killed their target, and severely crippled another nearby. LOTS more hero units, and several new ground and space units, including a Correlian Destroyer you get 3 of mac, but has great range and a TON of single turbolasers.

as for defence when they are throwing droids at you i always rush in the sabertanks and drive over a bunch of them that is one of their best uses swoop in and drive them over and get out as you finish them with the walkers

Nice video and nice game :) A suggestion:To stop the planes, you also use the planes. Build those aircraft that attack with laser beams. Build an air force! I would suggest to destroy those earth troops an orbital borbard.

Hey man I have had loads of expireance with this game and I suggest using the dreadnaught heavy cruisers more often, it has point defence weapons and can block missiles and is very effective against lucrehulks, It may seem dumb but if you try them in numbers they thrash proviences or lucrehulks

On endor pull your blockade off of it and let them get some ships and let them win a space battle on a planet near endor and then see if they will move gunships off and kill them when you have higher build cap then just take fleet and beat them back again it might take little bit but I think it’s better than auto resolving and losing a bunch of money

So happy to finally see Pride of the Core:). Was a nice battle. And yeah it seems well balanced , it shields are relatively weak . Imho one of its biggest non obvious strength is it operates on another layer then other ships, so you can cram all those ships above him and as result concentrate insane firepower ina small area of space, creating a killzone.

For Endor you could try deploying those speeder bikes and rush to where the gunships are on the ground and leave detonators? The Ewoks provide line of sight after all

hey shack, if you thought HMP droid gunships were overpowered, just wait till the build supertanks. Sheilded artilery impervious to your tanks and artillery. It has shields and anti-infantry/anti-aircraft cannons. The droids are tech 5, soo the probably are building these at Geonosis, but that is just a guess.

You might want to have a small strike team hit the hyper velocity gun before assaulting Geonosis. Because its the capital of the separatist the gun will have a increadably short reloading time. If that gun is still up when you assault Geonosis you might lose the pride of the core.

To take Genosis I used Yoda, anakin, and obi wan. Used Yoda for sight to bomb out power generator then had other two destroy genosian spawn points or protect Yoda between each bombing run bringing in heavy guns as I captured more points

if you hold them at tatooine and take the planet, you can hold there and focus on the mandalor moncala side of the galaxy, get a good enough fleet holding tat and a ground force with turbo lazer towers they will never get past you into the core

I had a situation like your Endor problem with Bakura, Yoda makes Endor possible because he eats AAT's and OG-9's. I did bombard HMP's on Bakura, but it is not accurate. I would drop Yoda and three squads of heavies with T1-B's, just attrition their forces down. With the T1-B's not taking up any population, they will prove to be invaluable at drawing fire and being able to cap turrets too.

Hi Shack, you can easily take Endor, you made 2 mistakes. First mistake was not dropping 100% hvy troopers, you need 4 squads in order to decimate the air units before they get out range. Second mistake was not moving....you stayed at that drop zone and that sealed your fate. Your troopers are much faster than all of their walkers, treat the CIS armoured divisions like zombies and you will do much better

Turbolaser turret seem to be pretty effective against the droid dropships. They take down one dropship with every shot they fire. Maybe build Turbolaser turrets against dropships, instead of anti-air.

Your tactic to Endor was right originally.... except you didn’t use heavies.... Drop heavies and run for the hell fires. Do a second battle and run for the og 9s... then do a third and run for the air units

I think that mod developers are Separatist's lovers. Why they buffed their air units on the ground even when they were OP in since the beginning. What's worse, the Republic doesn't have any units that can give them good dmg, plus even if you want to kill dropships when they are on the ground, they hit elsewhere! Is there a way to lower their dmg on our own somehow, 'cause that's terrifying.

I think the old space stations are a nicer design than the new ones like if you agree dislike if not. the old space stations were like the medical station that the malevolence was going to attack and it looked good and was a nice touch
