I can't believe you can destroy the AT-AT with your Blasters.. I was stuck on this level for atleast 2 YEARS! I did not know how to use the Tow Cable and it took awhile to figure out how but I swear I shot those things on the heads for ages and they still would not go down.

Seriously? That's all it took to destroy that AT-AT? I never made it past this level as a kid because I couldn't get the tow cable to deploy and I I never thought to concentrate my laser fire on just the head.

WOAH WAIT A MINUTE!!! you can blow up those fuckers by focusing on their heads? it took me years to figure out how to use the tow cables. and in the other walker mission you can shoot at them without protecting something and I had to kamikaze myself 8 times (yes I cheated) to blow him up. I just came here to find out where the advanced proton torpedoes are hidden, I didn't expect this.

So for people confused about how he's destroying AT-ATs without the tow cables, this is the PC version. There were a few changes they made to the game like destructible AT-ATs. You can't do this on the N64 version

100 laser hits to destroy an AT-AT. Pretty sure there was an upgraded laser item you needed to get but I could be wrong. Either way, 100 laser hits and done

When I've played this you could take at an AT AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) by just shooting at it without using your harpoon and tow cable. Also, after taking out the second AT AT (All Terrain Armored Transport), you taking Tie Bombers instead Fighters.

Mishearing the audio is what screwed me over in this level. I always thought it said "go over the lake" when it actually said "go for the legs"

Mission was very hard when I was a kid scared me due to it being so dark as it is an older TV tech made visibility very hard and it was just hard to see around where you're going and everything was chaos and it didn't know you could just shoot the head on the ATAT LOL

This mission was such a major pain in the butt. The bombers where annoying to hit down. (NOTE: I am describing my troubles as a child.) The first AT-AT was tough, but I got through it. Then the worst part. The final AT-AT. I had TONS of trouble with this guy. (another note: I was playing on PC)

you know you can just fly around the legs and press a button to unleash a string. You fly around the walkers legs and eventually trip it.

I love this mission. The Coronet city looked so awesome in this game. Looks really serious. :3 And later in ESB, Luke says AT-At armor is too strong for blasters? The person and people who did otherwise in this gameplay video begged to differ.

I get ya. I myself just now tried it. Took me about a good 2 minutes of just shooting it in the head, but it worked. At least the one in Imperial Construction Yards did. That was the N64 version.
