Same here weather I'm using the falcon or the Y-wing. Plus the only medal I can get is a bronze. Any other mission either gold or silver.

@@cecilrhodes7744 from the start go straight to get to the landing pads. Then turn around back straight through the canyon - turn right at the little outpost with the four guns. Turn right at the end and you're at the garrison and comms array. The naboo fighter helps too

Forgot the Y-wing had a second blaster. Like a emp shot. It disabled the TIE fighters. So hard to use but, pretty satisfying. Think it was one of the yellow arrow buttons on the controller. You just held it for a few seconds. The aim circle turned blue.

When an old friend was playing this, and when I said that my prefrences were basically the opposite of his,* he suggested that I'd play this mission. 'course, since I were completely unfamiliar with this game, I felt embarassed for my terrible performance. ^^; *he prefer the A-Wing & Snow Speeder 'cause he prefer the kind that're fast & agile, and are willing to sacrifice "survivability" in exchange. While I prefer those that're heavily "armored" and have powerful weaponry. and are willing to sacrifice SOME Mobility in exchange. 'cause I'm more confident in my Marksmanship than my Piloting Skill (for example, flying a "twitchy" A-Wing OR Snow Speeder through a tight tunnel. While having to move fast AND precisely)

+Shazeen82 Y-Wing have two warhead launchers which can be equipped with bombs missiles and torpedos and a large magazine, Two laser cannons and a dual ion cannon turret, X wings cant hope to match that kind of firepower but they are more maneuverable and slightly faster.

Shazeen82 You may be right game-wise, but I speak considering the lore. I mostly used Y-wings because they were the mighty wishbones of the Rebel Alliance which fought proudly carrying the legacy of old republic.
