Great video. My crew have some mount that they carry inside their Wayfarer. I think next time they go into space combat, I will use a threat to make the paniquing equinoid break the fence and goes free inside the ship.

Maybe I missed this during the video, but say the party are in a smaller ship during a space battle and they want to get past a large ship like a sta destroyer- do you treat the ISD like a large piece of terrain and ask for a piloting check?😅

So you can take 1 Pilot Maneuver, 1 Pilot action and then Fire weapons because its a non-pilot only action?

Depends on how many players are on the ship and what positions they're at. If you had a pilot and a gunner then yes you could do that.

What very much confused me is that weapons on ships also have firing arcs, like the 360 turret on the falcon. However, even though it is listed, it does not seem to be used in any way, am I correct? a ship that has a fixed gun does not have any documented disadvantage compared to a ship with a turret?

Not explicitly, no. But through actions like Gain the Advantage, or by using piloting checks and spending dice results, you could put yourself in an advantageous position such as behind an enemy fighter who then wouldn't be able to shoot you with front facing guns
