(Hardcore SW fan, collected a majority of the EU books and supplements, ruined one of my top 3 favorite SW characters, three-way-tie between Luke, Mara, and Thrawn, and when I saw TLJ I thought I was gonna have a stroke, twice, while watching it.) And even despite all of that, it's not the worst movie I've ever seen. That place... That... "Film"... Watching it was like finding the fucking One Ring. Do I destroy it? Do I tell people about it? Do I keep it, hoping that I'll have the only surviving copy and I can ensure it remains as lost media for all time? That fucking movie made me legitimately question my goddamn life because of how terrible it was. Not fun terrible like The Room, just... Rancid. And I'm the guy who spent like 4 years going out of his way to find the most shocking, graphic, disturbing films and movies to see how far filmmakers have gone. This, unnamed movie I shall not speak it's goddamn name like it's VOLDEMORT or some shit, that was the low bar... I feel like it should be mentioned that people involved with The Acolyte have said that the acting in it is unintentionally hilarious. According to rumors, every scene has characters dressed in costumes, and the actors involved apparently struggled with delivering lines seriously while wearing the costumes. I also heard that the atmosphere while shooting felt more like a high school play than anything, so the actors were having a lot of fun acting in the scenes, but they were like "Oh... That's really bad," when watching the scenes later on.

I'll keep pointing this out, the major problem with the acolyte is that a non-force user has almost no chance at a straight fight with a Jedi. In KOTOR2, Atton Rand specialized in fighting Jedi and he is very clear how hard it is to fight against a super human who has super speed, constantly sees partially into the future and can feel the intentions of everyone around them and HOW he got around those super powers. Having an assassin just trying to run up and attack a Jedi would never work and is really dumb.

They have to be exceptional like the Maladians or Mandalorians to even think about defeating Jedi. It's even worse challenging a Sith. A heavily wounded Darth Plagueis without his lightsaber was able to destroy dozens of Maladians. A Sith Apprentice can even win out against Jedi masters.

It’s a martial style unique in the SW universe that employs meditation and mastery of the self to allow for almost superhuman feats, but it takes a huge amount of discipline to master. And while its practitioners didn’t have any kind of telekinetic powers like Force-Sensitives, their strength and speed were on par with Jedi Masters’ physical feats. The style - in Expanded Universe, anyway- was actually created to counter Jedi, specifically, as the original masters of the art were victims in a brutal war the Jedi were involved in. So they would definitely have had ways to disarm lighsaber users.

@@nagger8216 I agree that SWTOR doesn't handle Revan well but I don't discount everything else from that game. It doesn't handle KOTOR 1 and 2 well but as a stand alone game the story is quite good. Prior to Shadow of Revan it was actually quite easy to go through the whole game without running into those issues because you'd only run into Revan and Exile if you did the entirely optional flashpoints.

I’m so done with Star Wars, I kept hearing about how the Disney+ series where going to erase the sequels by having Grogu be Luke’s first pupil, then they made all sorts of baffling decisions and they completely wasted Luke’s story with that, so I just lost interest, it’s gone, the only way for me to care is erase the sequels and make Luke the face of the franchise, CGI Luke should be the main focus of this universe, I literally don’t care about Star Wars anymore.
