I have a theory on dragon pearls. Since the planet is mostly desert and sandy. There would be lots of silica. Which makes quartz and other geodes. It's possible on occasion they ingest some that have had minerals leached in from the dragons stomach and then it just polishes smooth thanks to the other stones and sand it eats. Until nature makes the stone come out. Another awesome video for sure!!

I_Like_Space they misspoke when they said stomach in the video. They keep them in the gizzard like birds and that never really leaves the gizzard. How you get it out is by slicing it open and pulling it out of the gizzard. Many Krayt dragons died for this unfortunately. That's why they were thought to be extinct for a time on Tatooine. At least that's what I read.

Imagine the great Krayt dragon having seven pearls (depending on how many it has due to how many rocks it has in its belly/how much it ate the rocks to digest its food) of different colors. (And of the same colors too). And imagine a Jedi or sith having seven slots (or more depending on the great krayt dragon). Have all the pearls either of the same color or different. Put *ALL* the pearls into each of the slots and it would be the most powerful lightsaber in the entire saga!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well if the great kreyt dragon has more pearls in its belly the Jedi/sith. Will need more slots for how many Krayt dragon pearls they/he/she will find.

Greater Krayt dragons like their regular cousins would not stop growing and could live a really long time over several centuries in fact, in one case in some of the older books or comics, there was a partial fossil of a canyon/common krayt dragons skull that was in display at one point in the Courescant Zoo, it was roughly the size of Low Altitude Assault Transport (LAAT), but it was even dwarfed by an only existing tooth that belonged to its greater relative that was seen as long and half as wide as an X-wing, and if that was scary there rumours that when Anakin/D.V. Luke visited the museum he said upon touching it that it was not fossilized it was more like ivory, horns removed from the animal, and considering these thing hide gets tougher with age, so yeah, the old theory of patriarch of their species being alive and sleeping somewhere out there in the Great Due Seas, and might be getting lightsaber resistant skin.
