Were the "home ships" used in Ahsoka a version or inspiration for their design?

I like the movies, and the series, like Book of Boba Fett, Mandolorian, the actual motion picture movies. Otherwise, the Star Wars industry with cartoons, etc has damaged it all for me. It has created conflicts with the lives of some characters. Difficult to link it all together.

my internal rationale for the A-Wing taking out the Executor was the Executor had been getting hammered by enough debris and torpedoes during an intense battle the particle shields were either spotty, concentrated elsewhere, or down to relase more fighter wings. The real problem I have is Nu-Star Wars showing hyperspace ramming as a valid strategy. Anything escape pod with a small, backup hyperdrive should be a ship killer... and yet it isn't.

I’d say it can make sense for it to be faster in atmo but slower in space than the TIE because the TIE had problems going max speed in atmo because of its lack of shields and non-aerodynamic shape

As much as i love the Mon Cal Cruisers and their unique design i always think that it is mere plot armor that a MC of any version is more powerful than any Star Destroyer. the ships are redesigned civil luxury cruisers. how could that compare to a ship that is specifically designed for space combat and intergalactic warfare? image telling anyone that the redesigned titanic would have been the most powerful battleship in WW1. you`d ask yourself "how on earth could that be ???" it couldn't. and i dont understand why there is so much effort to make the MCs the better ship instead of having the underdog story

Obviously you don't determine tonnage... ...but I gotta say the tonnage metrics in Star Wars are absolutely laughable and confusing. They're so low. If one thinks of the sheer scale of these things it should be double, triple -- quintuple the values listed. I mean, they're literally made with magic fission reactors the supposed size of entire suns, have anti-gravity devices, and carry thousands of personnel. It doesn't make any sense. If you take a bulk ocean freighter -- some extend up to nearly 240,000. Of course they don't need to leave the atmosphere (space being hard IRL) but they're also not constructed of the equivalent of space magic tech.

I'd argue that the B1s best strength was that they could do a wide variety of jobs. If they weren't shut down and thrown away, they would have been an excellent labor droid. If not in the sequels plot, then with new bodies that weren't politically sensitive.
