Those who created the Acolyte trailer should learn how to create the thriler from this example. Season 1 showed us Jedi who left the Jedi Order but are also opposites of each other. Ahsoka - Dooku If we follow this logic and what the trailer showed us, along with what we know about Morgan, this season can be described in one word - Loss. Morgan lost everything, and in revenge for the death of her sisters and the hope of rebuilding Dathomir, she remained loyal to the Empire to the end. At the same time, she became her opposite, a maniacal criminal. She lost herself. Barriss lost everything with one move. The fact that she becomes an Inquisitor also shows that she too will lose herself and be loyal to the Empire. However, if we go by the theory that the characters are supposed to be opposites: Barriss saw evil in the Jedi and wanted to fight it. She is a very moral character, as even seen in the trailer. If anyone were to see evil in the Empire and the Inquisition, it would be her. Scenes from the trailer already suggest that she may not necessarily want to be an Inquisitor and is only doing so to survive. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she betrayed the Empire to follow her own path. And it would be funny if it turned out to be Barriss who killed Marrok and then Ahsoka killed his reanimated body by Morgan.
