Thrawn: Alliances is one of my favorite Star Wars books. Thrawn was of course smart enough to keep his knowledge of Vader's identity to himself, but I'm guessing he told Morgan Elspeth at some point (perhaps after Vader's death since they were able to communicate) and that's why Baylan knew.

I really, really hope that they don't completely ignore THE driving force for Thrawn: He is recruiting, just like he's always been doing (canonically), individuals that can help the Chiss against the Grisk. Eli Vanto, Nightswan, and now Morgan Elsbeth (with the Night Sisters)....and maybe he's already gotten to Ezra. That certainly explains why he just let him run free on Peridea and let Sabine find him so easily. I hope they don't just scrub who Thrawn is ..... *please*.....

@@flamsey Nightswan was a man…someone that Thrawn tracked and ultimately defeated on his rise through the Imperial Navy. Thrawn recognized his talent for tactical applications and offered him an opportunity to go back to the Chiss and help against threats in the Ascendancy. Nightswan turned him down and died shortly thereafter.

I liked Thrawn as a genius in tactics and setting people up to get what he wants and what he wants to confirm about them. I read all the recent books by Timothy Zahn. I am looking for the Treason series. I can't wait for Bad Batch.

Yeah g'day, Thrawn was good at pushing Skyguy's buttons as he guessed about Padme as well and her importance to Skyguy. Morgan ended up being a puppet to Mitth’rawnuruodo even though her intentions were different, also she was following the whispers of the Bene Gesserit but she wouldn't know about the rebirth of Asajj in the waters of Dathomir. The Bene Geserit wouldn't tell her squat. SWM, like all the episodes of any animated series I AM NOT worried about the length just the quality and story flow, continuity. Hello Star Wars Meg: As you stated, Thrawn deduces the Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker; but knew better than to confront him. Anakin/Vader has a reputation of killing anyone (by using the Force), who even suspected his true identity. Not even the Grand Inquisitor, who knew Anakin, from the Jedi Order, kept that knowledge buried deep within his mind. Ahsoka was told, by Maul during their fight on Mandalore, that Anakin was now the Emperor's new Apprentice. But she didn't believe him. She was with Rex and the 101st, when Order 66 was initiated. She and Rex survived the create of the Star cruiser, but they were forced to go into hiding separately. Everyone wondered why Ahsoka chose the abandon the lightsabers Anakin gifted her. I suspect, and may she did also, that there was a tracking device hidden in them. That is how Vader found her crashed Venatur Cruiser. Anakin, now Vader, wanted Ahsoka to be his apprentice once again.

Question about Morgan & the Night Sisters. The Separatists, secretly under control of the Sith, wiped out the Night Sister's. Could the Night Mothers on Peridia or Morgan have known this through using their magic? Them helping Thrawn and the Imperial Remnants who were created by Sidious, who wiped their people out, is really bugging me.

Give me all the Thrawn! Your theory makes sense and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it comes to pass. But then how doea Bo Katan find out about it? If this is after Mandalore’s destruction which it almost certainly is, she won’t have the same access to intel and such that she did as Mandalore. But man if we see her and or Herra in animation again I’m going to be so excited!

I had a theory the final episode, we lose most of the Batch, the clone uprising helps Tantis, and Asage swoops in, rescues the force sensitives to take to "The Path" and Omega, the last batcher (Hunter in my mind) sees this and dies knowing Omega will be as safe as she can be.

I still believe Ventress will be in the final. Bitter-sweet could mean that Omega and 2 of the batch survive, but Omega decides it is best to leave them and go with Ventress ... likely a very tear-filled episode. Also (unless it goes against canon) I think Echo will be killed, and Omega will witness it,
