It's about time we got to see these characters just have a little joy in their lives. This is what Hunter has been looking for. He may not have been able to imagine it, but a place where Omega could just be a kid and have a normal life, and maybe even he and his brothers could live peacefully. This was his end goal. Soon, it's all going to be ripped violently away. This is what you'd get if the original trilogy actually showed us what Alderaan was like before blowing it up.

Good episode, and a contextually important one. It brings to light again just how *lost* the Bad Batch are after the war, not knowing what they want to do or where they want to go. Pabu will get ruined for sure, but they've been shown a life they _could_ strive for. One of my favorite quotes in S1 was Hunter's and Rex' "I have to do what's best for my squad." "Which is what?" "I'm still figuring that out." This ep. brought a similar gem: "What's your plan?" "You're looking at it."

Also, loved Tech not comprehending why Omega would need friends: "We never had that." They try to be a family, but being a squad is really all they know.

I absolutely adored this episode, an A- from me, such an intimate episode. At long last, the Bad Batch officially cut ties with Cid (although retaliation worries me) and found a breathtaking home in Pabu. Pabu reminded me of Outset Island in Zelda: Windwaker, it was so astonishing. Animation was absolutely flawless, the cinematic quality was even more impressive in this episode in particular. I love Omega making a friend, Tech getting further character development and learning to enjoy the beauty of life. 100% ship Phee and Tech, Phee was quite a pleasure in this episode and I hope to see more of her, this episode really cemented how much I like her. The tension of the tidal wave was really great, I was so scared that Shep was gonna die. This episode was really heartwarming and its good to see the Bad Batch in some state of normalcy. Entire journey of Pabu gave me "Road to El Dorado and Moana“ vibes as well. I can’t wait for the last 3 episodes man, let me tell ya.

I believe that Omega will _possibly_ be the reason why Ciddarin "Cid" Scaleback gets redeemed, *I think(?)* 🤔.

Last week I read a comment where the person thought Hunter was force sensitive. I just read and kept scrolling but now I, too, think he may be after seeing him feel something bad was coming.

He has Hunty senses! His senses were heightened, so he was able to feel the tremors in the ground before they hit the surface.

That was a cute episode. Nice to see them following up on leaving Cid. I am guessing we are going to get a time skip by the time of the next one. By the way it was just me or the older architeture gave someone else old Jedi Temple vibes? Even that tree in the middle of the yard in front of the tall bulding gave me the same vibes.

This was a chill episode and I really enjoyed it...I figure that Cid will turn them in or the Empire will learn that Cid knows. It would be great if Crosshair took her out. We have what three episodes left and I expect one of the group to not make it this season. They have been building up Tech, just saying.
