This is the same outpost from the episode from s2 "The Outpost" and Crosshair has come full circle. Can we give more love to the Kiners for their dope musical score in all these episodes.

When I first watched the episode I thought it was a plot hole that Hunter didn't notice the snow worm (wyrm) approaching, but I think you're right; he's fully focused on Crosshair and their argument distracts him. Watching the scene again they actually made it pretty clear -- Batcher's barking snaps him out of it, and _then_ he starts glancing around like "wait, what the..."

I have a theory: Maybe Crosshair’s shakes are the side effects from Hemlock’s nerve gas. Although Hemlock developed a tolerance to it, I think that he too cannot escape all side effects. He after all has issues with his gloved hand which he keeps rubbing. Just saying.
