Love that detail at the end where the "Vulture" like bird Is finally able to fly away from the base, symbolizing Crosshair finally being able to move on. He saw it when Mayday died, he saw it after he collapsed (after shooting the imperial), than when he came back and finally he saw it fly away.

It's ironic isn't it? Crosshair lost an actual brother/brothers that day and now he is starting to get his brothers back on this planet. Also this episode is def an homage to Dune (Worms and perimeter sensor in a way)

@mr.stuffdoer84837 ай бұрын
I’m pretty sure the sensors weren’t trapping it, it appeared in and out of them IIRC. I believe it showed up at the start of 2x12. My view was it was circling Crosshair the whole time. A man who had no light or life left, always close to death. Now, it starts by just watching him. At the end, he’s gained reasons to live. No need for the vulture to stick around.

Hemlock has his hand in a glove. He is often seen holding it and massaging it. Crosshair has a shaky hand. When Crosshair tried to escape, Hemlock released a neurological gas that immobilized Crosshair, meanwhile Hemlock explains he has exposed himself to the gas and is now immune. But is he? Perhaps the hands on both characters are featured because of the same reason.

I think my favorite thing from this ep is Echo showing up and immediately snarking back at Crosshair. Like the other three are basically walking on eggshells around each-other and avoiding stuff and Echo's like 'he's back? Cool. Anyway, next steps'. I just love that. I’m glad Hunter and Crosshair got what was bothering them off their chests. I’m certain their bond will be stronger from here. Crosshair went from disliking regs to straight up honoring the fallen. What a character arc! I also chuckled a little when Omega called him the little brother. It’s technically true lol
@petrgalko41528 ай бұрын
I don't think he was exactly honoring the fallen but rather putting himself at peace, FINALLY! Mayday was a mirror image of Crosshair, the only difference was, that Mayday was Crosshair at THIS particular point of time, but had no brothers to look out for him. And when he was left to die even when he cleary could have been saved, Crosshair quite literally saw himself die for nothing. Even when he was being a good soldier who only wanted to follow orders and be recognized for it. Recognized after being over looked / looked down upon ever since his creation. Ever since they introduced Crosshair, he was by far my most favourite character, because you could just smell the character development! Even more so than they did with Tech! Cross is the main character for me, period!

I loved this episode! I think they did an all around amazing job when making this episode. This entire episode was filled with so many amazing scenes and moments, I think they were able to do a great job at bring the whole episode together. I thought that the writing was fantastic, the voice acting was perfect as always, and the animation was beautiful and was able to perfectly capture whatever it was trying to portray. And the music for this episode was fantastic, I really loved all the different variations of Crosshair’s/Mayday’s theme they played throughout this episode, I really liked how different they were and how they were able to reflect the tone of the specific scene they were in. I’m so glad that they brought the Kiners back to do this shows score, I can’t wait to hear more of the music they have composed for this season. I really hope that the show is able to continue, keep up with or in some capacity even improve upon this level of great care and high quality that was put into each aspect of these first handful of episodes for the rest of this season. It was really great to finally get to see Echo and AZI again, I really hope that they both continue to appear throughout the season. I have a feeling that the more the Bad Batch gets involved in what’s happening at Mount Tantiss, the more Echo, Rex and the Clone Rebellion will come into play/focus this season. And although it only lasted for a couple seconds, I absolutely loved the moment between Crosshair and Omega where Omega call’s Crosshair “little brother” it was just so wholesome and heartwarming. I also really liked how the Batch could never bring themselves to get rid of Crosshairs armor. I thought it was a great way to show that despite the fact he was with the Empire, there was always a part of all of them that hoped he would come back one day. And it was also just cool to get to see Crosshair wearing his old Clone Wars armor again, it makes him feel like he’s becoming a member of the team again. And I loved that we returned to the planet from the episode “The Outpost” from Season 2. I think that was such a smart decision and made for a great way to show Crosshair’s want to distance himself from his past with the Empire but also his inability to currently coincide with the Bad Batch because of that past. Another little moment that I really loved getting to see from this episode was when Crosshair paid his respects to Mayday and his men by placing their helmets back up on the crates where they had been originally placed. I especially loved all of the interactions between Hunter and Crosshair throughout this episode. All of the moments of tension between the two of them were really great and led to a lot of great scenes, whether it be with or without the use of dialogue. But I loved the discussion they had at the end of the episode and the understanding that they were able to reach. I think the dialogue/writing, music and voice acting all came together really perfectly in this moment to make this scene even more compelling, touching and impactful. I can’t wait to get to see more of all these members of the Bad Batch work together as a team again, hopefully throughout the rest of this season. So far I am really loving everything about this show and I can’t wait to see the rest of the season and where all the characters and this story and will go next. I absolutely cannot wait for next week’s episode, I am really appreciating and looking forward to seeing it. I’m all around just so excited to get to see Bad Batch’s Third and Final Season continue.

I always assumed the accelerated aging slows down over the years because Cody in Episode 3 is 13 years old and Tem was 45 at the time, so rounding down the clones roughly age 3 times as fast 13*3=39 ~45 but Rex in Rebels/Episode 6 is still relatively spry, and looks somewhat in his 70s which would mean that the 19 year gap between the prequels and originals the aging slowed down to like a speed of 1.5~ish I don't know, maybe Jangos race of people just lives longer naturally and Rex still did age 3 times as fast, but then he would be well over a hundred by the time of Endor.

The issue with the Clones is that the Empire really wanted the clones to die and be killed off, and for good reason. The Clones weren't sterile and their drives weren't curbed, because the Kaminoans felt it would make them insufficiently aggressive as Soldiers, so instead the Kaminoans instituted this Comraderie of Brotherhood and the ideals of being Soldiers above all else to try and curb that impulse. However, could you imagine the Genetic issues caused by 1 million+ clones with the same DNA template having children? There would be children packed together who are all half Brothers and Sisters.....you would have to get a genetic screening before you get married or risk genetic deformities and other issues due to incest......

The tension between crosshair and hunter was really good but I wish they had shown the tension as being as soon as the previous episode ended and not after a day or so. also I really wish that echo had been a bit more angry when he first saw crosshair even if he knew he turned on the empire. There’s so much built up tension especially with techs death for them to just be ok with crosshair being back just because he helps them kill a giant worm.
