Yeah visibility is always better in a tank if your head is out than compared to using vision ports. You're more vulnerable but at least you can see better. I never understand why they made the tanks crewed though. They could’ve just made it a droid as well

@@Monarch683 a plausible reason might be that the MMT (I think that was the name) is a pre-war export tank, produced to be sold to other forces, so I'd imagine they would want to let armies who don't use droids still buy the tank. It would make sense however for a fully automated war refit of the tank to exist, though we never see such a thing.

Fantastic scene for sure. But I honestly wish that many of the battles throughout the Clone Wars weren’t so one-sided…the Separatists should’ve had at least a few victories…at least a few, especially since in this scene in particular where the Commando Droids on the speeder bikes and the one in the AAT tank could’ve easily killed at least more than two clones within the squad (five or more)…since they are much more advanced than the standard B1 and B2 Super Battle Droids, which in my opinion would make the battles more difficult and entertaining to watch and allow the rest of the characters to come up with better plans to defeat the massive numbers of Separatist Droids even if that means losing more soldiers and that would allow many people to have the option to root for whoever they would want to win and not already know who would win. (I know that some of the characters have plot armor of course…) But something tells me that since there have been plenty of instances where droids would simply charge at the enemy in massive numbers and most of the time, the Republic almost always came on top. It was mostly like “Whenever a large battalion of droids shows up by immediately know…Oh…Nothing serious is going to happen…” Which in my opinion is kinda misleading for any real tension they’re trying to produce. Especially when I know, they will lose no matter what they do. I can't feel any fear that any significant character will be so much as injured by a lucky shot from a battle droid, let alone killed. Battle droids should have had at least a few victories at least one lucky shot, at least something to show that they can be a threat in specific circumstances. I honestly always rooted for the Separatists since I love the different classes of Separatist Battle Droids. They should’ve won more. What do you guys think?

There are different types of speeders. There are land and combat speeders and then there are airspeeders. The Republic did not make use of airspeeder like the rebel snowspeeders of Hoth. The ones we see used by the Clone Army does not have the engine power to hover and fly, they only float/hover above ground.
