Considering the show and the story was supposed to continue even after the Battle of Coruscant and sometime during Revenge of the Sith timeline, I'm betting they would've included a Grievous vs Anakin fight

How would they have done that though? They met in Revenge of the Sith but there was never really an opportunity after that for them to fight each other. Grievous went to Utapau to organize the remaining separatist leaders and Anakin was doing Coruscant stuff.

Theirs faint room if you argue obi and ani both fly off and fight more after the separatist attempt to abduct coruuscants chancellor of the republic and the films skipped over their leaving and returning for several months or years, it could even be further excused by a bounty hunter abducting and carbon freezing padme to give them several years time span from start to finish of revenge of the sith
