Thanks for the review! Yeah, the new one is a lot heavier. 4 pounds without the blade! Intentionally done because its supposed to be heavy in the show. Ty for all the comparisons!

The "age old" screen accurate conversation. Both hilts APPEAR to be a bit off of screen accurate....V1 looks a bit too silvery and V2 is too dark. There is definitely some contrast between the stripes in the show, but they aren't shiny. I think V1 with a tiny amount of weathering would be perfect. Plus the 2 button set up is nicer, no clue why they went to 1 when they already had 2. Adding a V2 blade seems like the best combo. Thanks for your in depth reviews!

What a huge improvement! The original one bothered me that the black decal on the blade looked see-through from so much brightness. The new one actually looks black.

Hey Sir James! I bought the Darksaber from CC sabers, but I’m trying to tweak some blade styles and fonts, but I can’t find their “.h” file. Did yours come with one? I don’t want to start over from scratch.

Just so long as it's a same TXQ model hilt + latest PCB(Not the old ver.1), it should work. His Ver.1 Darksaber is from Nsabers and Ver.2 is from CCSabers.

May I ask which usb cable you are using, I just got into sabers and really all this micro usb access in too tight that my regular micro usb can’t fit in, please advise thanks just like the one you showed, did you have to unscrew the chassis further or you used a right angle cable if so which

I use a low-profile right-angled micro-USB cable from The Saber Armory for all of my sabers with Proffieboards. It works great.
