Lucas was very good at juxtaposition. Watch the films with that in mind and you’ll see it everywhere. One scene will be the good guys talking and the next scene the bad guys, and they’re usually talking about the same thing. Gives you two perspectives and shows how far apart they are. Probably my favorite example is when Obi-Wan tells Luke about the Force in Ep 4. Then the very next scene is Vader talking about it and choking the guy out.

This is really good work. The choral voices at the start singing the Force theme are wonderful, and the violins really do create excitement. This movie is the absolute pinnacle of the saga, and these fan trailers only elevate it further. Good job man.

Withholding Yoda and making it seem as though Ben is still the main master is a great piece of misdirection. Very in line with the modern trailers where everything is slightly askew to make sure they’re not tipping their hand. Excellent editing!

Wow! I love this so much because it's the ideal trailer. It doesn't give too much away, yet definitely increases excitement for it. I tried my best to pretend I had never seen this movie before and to only remember A New Hope, and this was perfect. Explained the plot perfectly with Vader wanting to turn Luke to the dark side, Luke searching for a great warrior (who I could simply interpret as the ghost of Obi-Wan since Yoda wasn't actually shown and we just heard his "crazy hermit" tone of voice instead of his usual and mostly serious Jedi voice), showed the 2 pivotal locations (Hoth and Cloud City with a but of space battles mixed in), and we were briefly shown more villains including Boba Fett and the Emperor for the "first time" ;) great work, Tom!!!

So, there is no reveal Vader is Lukes father, or any image of Yoda, a very intuitive thought, Just as you would cut a real trailer. Nothing Spoils the movie here, and the overal feel you come away with is simple, Empire finds them and WAR, and Luke fights the Bad Guy. A ship, A hero, A Bad Guy, A place to go. Adventure. Don't Give into Hate, That Leads to the Dark Side, Very nice choice.

The bespin scenes where leia is shooting at the stormtroopers, as well as Han hand-cuffed and in the carbon freezer chamber are kinda of spoilers. The line of "my friends are in trouble" would also be a minor spoiler. Those should be cut out, remember trailers are meant to provoke curiosity and excitement in the fans for the upcoming movie. That peak of Vader vs Luke causes excitement because it's Vader vs Luke. Overall good job.
