+Jamie Fredrickson My mother first saw Star Wars on a blind date back in 77 haha. I thank her for showing it to me back when I was 6, about 20 years ago today. She literally said the former about being a blind date when she first saw the movie while the famous Star Wars yellow words were coming up on screen for episode 4 when I was watching it for the first time along with my younger brother. I should give that guy who took my mom out to see Star Wars a bouquet. He indirectly put me on to one of the greatest Sci-fi/ Space operas' of all time.

LMAO, mannnn if I could see this movie with ANYBODY in the world, I would HAVE to chose you dude. This video deserves a plane ticket out to meet the cast or something, you are TRULY representing the movement for your generation, lol. Just let me tell you, I am 47, so the original Star Wars was MY FREAKIN LIFE from the time i was 10 years old. The first Star Wars was THE most magical thing I've ever experienced and this new one feels EXACTLY the same. The 3 prequels had little effect on me, but THIS HERE ?????? This blew my mind because when the new SW theme started playing while showing the new characters and an older Han Solo and Leia Skywalker, it reminded me of old Ben-Kenobi. How he had his adventures when he was younger in the Jedi Knights days. Then years down the line his old life starts to catch up with him again and he has to see the next generation of heroes off. Now it's time for Luke and the rest of the gang to see this generation off. Too powerful man!! Glad you enjoyed!!!

The trailer looks good and the crew really seem to care about doing this properly AND the most promising thing is Harrison Ford came back after he read it, even though he'd never been interested in doing another SW movie again. 1) I LOVED your reaction; when I saw THIS trailer, I got chills up my spine in anticipation! I can't wait to see how it plays out! 2) To reiterate, I love this trailer as well. This might be the best trailer I've seen all year, a grand representation of this movie, which leads me to... 3) I'm not gonna get TOO hyped up for this film. I saw back in 1998 when they released the trailer for Phantom Menace how hyped up people got for THAT film. Everyone got so psyched up, only to lead many fans on a Backlash crusade that has YET to subside. I just don't want to set myself up for disappointment. (And for the record, I actually liked the prequels. DON'T SHOOT!).

I trust JJ Abrams though, he did a fantastic job with the star trek franchise (plus he's one of the creative minds behind Lost and Fringe!) @@DraulBall Honestly, no. I loved The Force Awakens and enjoyed watching it repeatedly. The rest of the Sequel Trilogy? Well, The Last Jedi insisted on using his turn at the director's chair for "De-Abramsing" the franchise to the point that it rubbed a LOT of people the wrong way. While I LIKED the movie, I thought it was a BIG step back in quality and did damage to the franchise. I just got the feeling that Rian Johnson, a good director in his own right (see also "Knives Out") simply didn't give the source material, OR the fan base, the respect that it deserved. Even so, I felt it did a good job as a Stand-Alone movie, and despite it's flaws, was worth watching. And Rise of Skywalker, I thought, got the franchise back on track, just in time to finish the trilogy. While I thought that the return of Palpatine was indeed rushed, I cut it a LITTLE slack because I felt that it being "shoehorned" was somewhat necessary. A good final destination for a Bumpy, yet enjoyable, ride.
