I also dislike the plot points by age group segregation. However, if the Drengir plot of "Into the Dark" is anything to go by, I don't think the plots introduced in the YA novels will be important, since the Drengir plot never connected with the adult novels and was SPOILERS: resolved in the comics. Lucasfilm publishing wants you to think that everything connects and is important so that you buy everything, but in reality the comics and YA books are really side stories that only amount to cameos in the main books (I'm assuming).

The Drengir felt so important in "Into the Dark" (and they hyped them up so much), so I'll be interested to see how they're resolved in the comics! I'm hoping that these are less essential to the narrative--I enjoy reading the kids & YA novels, but it's a lot to read and track down. :D

I really had a hard time reading through this one. We barely see the nihil, there's one good scene with Marchion Ro but that's basically it. The characters were kinda not well written, I couldn't get invested or care about them. Vernestra is yet another marie su character and Syl is definitely not a Han Solo. I'm so disappointed
