No, but they wouldn't make reaches like she was brought up by particular people and that's how she got the accent, they would do the simplest reasoning possible which is that her parents had the same accent. I couldn't imagine a sequence where the parents weren't british but they leave the differences unexplained, likewise, I couldn't imagine a sequence where they find a way to explain to the audience why there are differences in accents, therefore, they have the same accent.

Altureus I disagree with the actively practising to keep it. I’ve never actively sought to keep my accent. I was born in Liverpool (England) and my family left when I was just eleven months old. We moved to Surrey, which the two accents from Liverpool to Surrey are massively different. I have a very strong Liverpool accent. When I was eighteen I moved to New York and have been there since then and I’m surrounded by Americans. When I return home everyone is surprised that I still have my own accent. To me, I think people actually actively seek to lose an accent when people around them don’t sound the same because they want to fit it more. The more self confident people keep their accents.

Tom Caine Spot on... there’s approximately 20,000 accents in Britain and just 1,700 in the US. Considering Britain’s population is just 65 million compared to 325m in the US, it really puts into perspective how many different accents Britain has, yet the rest of the world thinks of just one accent that less then 1% of the population has because it’s not just one of the East English accents, it’s a middle class one too. There’s more accents in Britain than any other country.

I think he says: "We're not doing this." Force Awakens ends with him looking at her with his father's lightsaber, handing it out to him, along with the knowledge that he hid his existence so that if the moment arrives where he is needed back, someone will go through the trouble of putting the pieces together if it's really that important. Knowing he's been found and probably even more somber at this point than when he first hid himself, he knows exactly what this visit implies and he is in no mood to get involved. "We're not doing this."

They use "code words," and phrases when making huge budget films because the vendors that Production companies use during the process sometimes tend to bump their prices up significantly if they know they're working for a customer with more money. Like, the on-location catering companies bid for the job, and the production company usually ends up hiring the one with the best reputation, at a reasonable price. But, clearly the bidding war starts going the wrong direction if they all know they're trying to get hired to work on a huge budget Star Wars film, as opposed to, "Space Bear." Where it just sounds like some independent or college film or something. Before they get hired on, while the bidding is happening, the production company usually keeps all of their outside vendors in the dark about who they really are. And, it isn't until they're actually awarded the contract that they find out exactly for whom they'll be working. Then, they're essentially, "in on the secret," with everyone else who's signed on. But, until then, major Production Companies try to keep themselves as under the radar as possible, so they aren't gouged by prices for services that would cost the average Company a fraction of the price. It's actually kind of a shame that they have to be shady like that, but if you owned a catering company, and you were trying to get hired on to work for a film crew in your area, you'd probably bid the job at ALOT higher rates if you knew it was a Star Wars movie that was looking for your services than if it was just some average or less-than average production company. You'd kinda be stupid NOT to lol and most major Production Companies are well aware of these tactics, so they try making themselves sound as unprofessional, inexperienced and low-budget as possible when they're shopping around for outside services like catering. Because they've been price gouged WAY too many times already, so they've obviously learned some tactics of their own, like calling themselves, "Space Bear," while they're shopping around for services on-location. 👍
