The hateful comments on the trailer truly saddens me, I first saw star wars phantom menace when it was released with my grandfather and then clone wars I've seen each of this new saga and story's opening day at imax in london and haven't made it through any of them let alone a trailer without rolling a tear as regardless of peoples opinions i know he would be in awe at the visuals the music and the stories. It brings up so many honest emotions in me i am forever grateful this exists while I'm alive.

TommyGamerV12 Ok I’m gonna tell ya Star Wars 1-6 nostalgia is pure wonderful bliss I saw the trailer in theaters seeing Obi wan remove his hood made me teary eyed and I got goosebumps when it showed maul and Qui-Gon and Palpatine and mace have me flash backs for seeing the prequels at the movies I’m ready for this film hope we see Jedi Force ghosts from the prequels.

I think it would be really cool if the result of the events of this movie is a total dissolution of the force in the universe. All of the force ghosts move permanently on to another plane, and the universe is at last at balance. Obviously that won't happen, nor would I expect it to. Just an idea of mine that I kinda like.

Robert Holt Kinda sounds like the plot of Knights of the Old Republic II, where Darth Kreia wanted to get rid of the Force entirely to put an end to the Jedi and Sith and therefore achieve true balance in the galaxy.

I think if they were going to have it be the absolute definitive conclusion of the Star Wars universe then absolutely, but we now know Rian Johnson’s trilogy will be set after Episode 9, so I guess light vs Dark needs something to threaten the situation.

@@patrickoliver9133 No. Williams scored the movie itself, but the trailer music was written by Blake "Blakus" Robinson using some of Williams's themes. It's quite clear that this taiko-heavy, "epic sounding" trailer music doesn't sound anything like what Williams writes.

Its a mix between the main title theme and reys theme

Coppershore is correct, however it’s heavily modified. The reason it sounds so new is because of a heavy emphasis on its chord changes, which are very different from usual and are EXCELLENT at building up intensity. So, while Coppershore is technically correct, it would honestly just be better to call it its own theme, because it has its own feel.
