Great review! While I appreciate the insight that you are happy to have opened the carded figures, I’m not planning on it. I guess that’s my first dip into being a carded collector, but I’m planning on keeping them in their cardboard box as they came.

My Ghost finally arrived yesterday. I haven't had time to get into it yet. Yes I'm going to open the figures. Maybe Hera's left hand is molded to hold one of the controls on the ship.

Blowing up your side by side comparison of both heads- The haslab one is definitely different. In fact I know it’s different because I actually like it less- way less !. It’s bloated and roundish looking. Not to also mention that I don’t like the outfit as much as the Asoka version. It’s a shame in a way, You pay all that money and that’s what they give you!. It still looks okay But to My Eyes- Much Less So!. Great job on the Review and the Set of Reviews of these Figures. Glad You’re enjoying them!. Cheers !.🙏👍👊☮️

Looks like the head-sculpt is different…looks to me like the face is slightly wider and the lekku look longer. Curious…is there a height difference? I agree that it will be hard to open the mural cards, but I’m pretty sure I’ll want them open and displayed with the Ghost too. Planning to open them…might change my mind when they arrive (12/23/24 according to tracking), but leaning towards open. Also, the fruit is a Meiloorun fruit.

They are amazing figures, hence why I have 2, hopefully coming soon. As far as if it's a new figure, yes, it's a Haslab. For the price we'd better get 100% new figure.

Head sculpt looks different to me, the tell is the shape of the tentacle hair being different and the chins being slightly more rounded/sharper on each respectfully.

I'm not opening mine. WIll send them to AFA at some point. I thought her face sculpt was different from afar, but when you did a close up, they do appear the same to me. Little Bossk could be right.

The head sculpts are different, at 4:16 on the clock, when you turn the heads to the side, you can see the line of the cap is a completely different shape. when you compare them. Different goggles too. Great review, I don’t imagine there will be too many loose reviews of these figures, your reviews are greatly appreciated 👍

Every time I look I see something different. I thought that about the line and goggles but then I thought it was the way they have painted them. They probably are different but even the contours on her face are the same. But as I said, every time I look my eyes play tricks on me.

@ it’s tricky, I think the differences are subtle, partly because the head gear on both figures are so similar, and are meant to represent the same style of head gear. I am re watching your video now to look for more clues, My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow, so I will bust out the magnifying glass and take a closer look. You’re absolutely right though, it’s seemingly changing each time I look at it. Haunted figure, ghost specter indeed😂

@ yeah, so the goggles look different but one has brown paint around them making them look less protruding. But I’m thinking the rebels version has brown straps that might be sculpted, but again could be paint. My eyes aren’t good enough to see to be honest 😂😂

@ ok after careful consideration, I am even more confused lol In all seriousness I think they are very very very very slightly different head sculpts. Try looking at them from a lower angle, if you were a kid looking up at Hera’s chin. Look at the googles, the Ahsoka version has googles that stick out forward a little more. So Im going with very slightly different sculpts that are incredibly similar

Very nice! The head sculpt looks slightly different but can’t tell if it’s just the lip paint applications or not! Either way great to have that outfit in the line as I have watched rebels a few times now and love the feel of that show.. Don’t think I will be able to set them free though, thought you’d have sent them all straight to UKG!

I think the heads look the same sculpt but the paint apps really make them look different. As the haslab version has so much new tooling, it's almost inevitable they'll be giving us a season 1/2 version in the mainline. 👍

It is surprising how much of this figure is new compared with the Ahsoka version. I think you mean these are from season 3 and 4 of Rebels, there were only 4 seasons. At this stage, I am planning to keep my Haslab figures carded, and use the Ahsoka versions. Cheers!

Great review and comparison Tim. Hera is a fantastic figure and she’s the first from the Haslab I’ve opened. Incredible amount of variation from the Ahsoka version. I hope we get season 1/2 version too. Loving The Ghost 😊

Im going to open all my Ghost figures. While the original rebels figures weren't the most detailed, they were pretty decent representations of the animated charicters. However they really did Hera bad with the paint apps on the 5poa figure.

I noticed that the Rebels HasLab Hera has more flexible lekku, whereas the Ahsoka version has more stiff lekku. I definitely prefer the more flexible lekku.

One way of figuring out if it's the same headsculpt is probablý swapping heads between one & the other. If they snap together, it's highly likely the same headsculpt.

The left hand is probably sculpted to hold the flight yoke in the Ghost.

i worry secondly about this, firstly about Kanan cause with two heads and a mask.. i really need at least that body again. But Hera doesn't sport another look to do.. so this might be the only rebels version we get. So i hope they half break the rule and include them without the extra pieces.

Worry not! Hera's outfit does differ slightly in the earlier seasons of Rebels (eg different shoulder pads) and in the epilogue so Hasbro can definitely release a similar figure in the mainline.

@@NicholasHallows Here's hoping sooner or later i might be able to pickup replacement animated style heads off the community but i really want that season 1 crew look. As much as i like the later seasons the show finds its spot, all the cast really look good in their introductions before tweaks. Plus i need a whole crew inside and outside to man my ghost lol

I totally think those are 2 different heads. The Ahsoka version has a thinner face and her lekku are also longer and thinner too. They look like the same character, but i really think they didnt do a paint job and use the same head. Also...with Hera its easy for me to not open the Ghost version since i think the Ahsoka version looks better. Unlike Kanaan, whom the Ghost version is just soooooo good. Im having trouble not opening him

Looking at the two head-sculpts, honestly, I think they are slightly different. Slightly different colour, maybe that changes the way the shadows are reflected. A person could go crazy trying to figure out this question I reckon! 😂 Great review once again BB 👏 May-lu-run fruit?

I much prefer the Ahsoka series Biggles look for Hera. This looks nicely sculpted but the face is like a weird hybrid between animated and realistic. I prefer the live action Sabine look too. I feel justified in keeping these on card now

Not a fan of Disney Star Wars, but this is the real Hera Syndulla as opposed to the dull and lifeless portrayal by Mary Elizabeth Winstead on the Ahsoka series.
