Cool review. I have a few of these. Use them for my Figuarts Obi-Wan and Darth Maul. Obi-Wan looks so perfect, but Darth Maul's seems a tad big for him. Either way, I'm happy I was able to grab the ones I wanted. Even messaged and asked when the next batch was coming and he told me when the carmel cloak was up so I could grabbed it right away. Great ebay seller right there!

I have that Rickhor cloak for Luke and it's very good, i just wish i'd gotten the brown one instead of black. Wetting the fabric works pretty well on stock cloth too like Obi-Wan

I did, and I can't remember where I got it. It's not 3D printed, I have one of those, but I got mine from someone who took that 3d print, cleaned it up, and then remolded it. I'll try to find where I got it.

If only someone would make a proper draping Kylo Ren hood or complete soft goods. I have the TBS soft goods on my SHF Kylo, it's nice but it could be better. I like how rikhor's hoods drape down nicely.

The paint jobs on your glassman heads look really good. WAAAAY better than the hasbro paints. Hasbros paints (while understandable) are almost always underwhelming, mostly due to quality control issues and just overall lack of detail. They just use the flat skin tone throw on some eyebrows and eye paints or the occasional lip tone. I really dig the old ben head, I've been wanting to do a custom myself. The mythos Obi-Wan sculpt glassman has looks pretty awesome too. I wish there was a good sculpt of an unmasked Kylo Ren. Glassman has one but I'm not too big a fan of it, it looks more like snape or something.

+Michael Payne Yeah, what's worse is that it's been proven that most of the Black Series heads are good sculpts, it's just the paint that drags them down. For an unmasked Kylo, MAFEX will have one at the end of the year, but there is also a rumored resculpt Kylo for Force Friday this year so maybe that will be unmasked? Too early for an Episode 8 figure and the only other option would be battle damage. Has to be unmasked.

I just ordered my first Star Wars figuarts from amiami, and I'm looking for a nice cloth cape. Have you ever purchased one of gpslot's robes? Looking for opinions on the best cloth robes for this line. They look a bit different, and not as thick, but they seem a bit more accurate in terms of length, and they ship a lot faster. I'm not sure either way, as this is my first figure in the line and have no cloth robes. Just looking for the best robes in this scale. I think they really add a lot to the figure.

Hey so will the cape molding trick be okay to do on a model kit I added fabric robes to kit vader in a new hope style but can't get the robes to stay over the shoulders or lay flat past the belt thanks in advance for any help

In that case I would try to get the cape as wet as possible without actually getting the figure wet. With regular action figures I just dunk the whole thing, figure and all, and then mold it. But I'd be afraid the model would actually get water inside of it and it would sit for way longer. It would still dry though, I guess.

+SithLord229 He rotates stuff in and out. I had to make several passes before actually snagging the Emperor's robes. I guess he likes to have a variety but handcrafting them, he puts them up as he finishes.

Soak the figure, it doesn't hurt anything at all. I just put the robes on and then run water over it. While it's soaked position the robes where you want them to lay and just leave it to dry for a few days, the robes and the figure will dry and the robes will keep their shape.

Soak it as much as you can. At first most materials will run the water off the top but the more you soak, the more damp it will get. Then keep going, haha.

Yup! The good thing about Jedi robes is that that they are big and poofy so it works great on the Figuarts too. I personally don't have any on mine but I've seen it done.

The pegs on the Figuarts is much smaller than the Black Series so you would have to fill some of the hole in the head to make it fit. But yeah, it would work.

I don't have the Black Series Vader and don't wanna buy it just for the cape. I can't find an "aftermarket" cape for a decent price anywhere either. The tutorial I saw had me cut a circle with the radius being Vader's height, cutting 1/3 of it out, and using the leftover 2/3 as the cape. It looks horrible. Haha.

Perhaps find a way to darken the skintone of the episode III Obi-wan? The head looks amazing but makes the hands seem really pale, almost as if he's wearing weirdly colored gloves. that or it's just your lighting and it looks better in person. I'm not at all a pro in action figures, the hands just kinda stood out to me.

I recently got into Star Wars 6 inch figures. never collected figures before. got the black series Kylo and First order Stormtrooper, and a Mafex Vader with 3 flaws, 2 of which are my own fault. -the first two.- -(I managed to get the lightsaber blade stuck in the handle and once it did come out the peg nearly snapped so it's permanently in the handle now. the second is the same as you had, though I was less lucky. I was a millimeter off and the entirety of the helmet peg snapped off. even though I knew it could happen since I watched your review beforehand. it's loose but does stay on, I can hold him upside down without it falling off.)- I wonder if you know how to fix this one though: the third issue was right out of the box. the right hand peg, it's two half balls making a little ball, but the half the hand connects to just wont stay in there, so I have to pose it extremely carefully because the hand along with half the peg just pops out. It's very loose. it happened the first time I carefully touched the hand. any idea if this can be fixed?
