Palp player resolved i4 sac wrong both games. Palp's ability has to fully resolve (dmg, draw) before i4 scry 2. Never interrupt an ability

Game 2 Adam actually had the answer to the krayt dragon at the end. He could of entrenched palpatine making it a 7/13, and swinging into it with palp sacing one of his units to ping the krayt dealing 8 damage to it.

Pillage is such a brutal card against basically anything strong in the late game. Losing superlaser blast and avenger was brutal. Then following that up by force throwing a krayt dragon into an avenger was beautiful.

When you play an unit with shielded with Han's ability, how does it resolve ?

Usually, the controller chooses the order, but I believe in that case you need to resolve Han's ability first, so the unit would receive the damage and then the shield would be applied. I may be wrong, though.

Game 2 ressource 8, not sacrificing the Vador to damage the Luke and deploy Palp and take control of him, to just superlaser blast next turn makes absolutely no sense... Playing Luke like that without clearing the sentinel first with Cassian and put the -6 on Vador is really risky too as palp can steal it the same turn.

It's easy to point at every single mistake while watching a video, but it's different when you play. A good player is one who makes the few mistakes, but of course there can always be a better play especially when you have time to study it in front of your computer at home. Saying "Awfull plays on both sides" is not very nice for the players...

Oh?... Using Luke to kill Sentinel allowed for more damage to his base while keeping my Cassian alive. I don't win that game by trading units imo... it in general is a bad matchup for me. As for Palp, can't speak for him, but I would imagine he was more worried about Krayt being as it was Game 2 and he had answers for the board in the moment. No one is going to play perfect lines all the time. All we can do is try out best with the information we have in the moment.

@@SawseTV yeah but it was the palp turn so he could have steal your Luke by pinging it. If he has no unit on the board, he cant ping until next turn and a lot of actions and you have the tempo and the easy win.

@@MeepleonFire If I play that line he just SLB's anyway? I get that it was risky for me, and probably wrong, to play that way... but generally speaking Palp is a bad matchup for me and the path to victory is pressure onto base + Krayt to lock them out.

Both these players having their decks in the arenas is driving me crazy. Like there's literally a space on the mat for it, and they're take up to half of the arena up with their decks. Not trying to be a dick, but I'm pretty sure there's a rule against this for tournment play.

Usually MTG players prefer to put their deck on the top left of the arena by habbit, or just because it's just more comfortable for the player. I'm pretty sure if the opponent doesn't oppose it it's okay even in competitions. Same goes with the tokens instead of the experience cards, etc.

In the nearly 20 games I played a all weekend, maybe 2 or 3 players used the "proper" place to put the deck. Its just far more comfortable in my opinion.

I do not believe there is any type of rule currently enforcing where the deck must be placed. This really comes down to player preference. While it looks great for the camera to have everything in the labeled zone, a lot of players are used to placing their decks in certain positions and want that level of comfort in a pressure filled match.
