Star Wars Unlimited Draft (SOR) - 20240516 - Pastimes

2-1 Yellow Iden deck
Initial leaders were Iden, Tarkin, and Tarkin.
2 other Tarkins were pulled close to my spot so I chose Iden instead of drafting the same colors as several other people.
Only loss was due to decking out. Had good control cards, but the 30 card limit does not help with a slower control deck.

Really enjoy these videos. I’m a big fan of draft in SWU but am still a relative novice. It’s fun to predict what you might pick and to also see the thought process. I hope you keep doing these.

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy it. It’s always fun rewatching these with my daughter to discuss what we would have picked and what would have been better with hindsight.

Also, do you have a personal fav when it comes to leaders? Ones you tend to favor just due to playstyle? Or is it really just what you see around you?

I do. Krennic, Tarkin and Leia are my top 3 with Boba close behind. I have not been able to use Jyn yet in draft so may need to force it one day, but she seems strong. I like Sabine also, especially if you can lean i to aggro early with her. As you can see from this draft, even with Tarkin in my selection pool, I had to make the decision to forgo him since I would have someone to the right of me with the other Tarkin. There were also two other Tarkins both to the left and right of me which made it a harder pick to commit to with the possibility of competing for the same colors. Surprisingly, none of the players ended up playing Tarkin.
