I have green play do in the belt of one of my vintage stortroopers. Those blue feet made me think of it. I generally say hi on Instagram but I happened to catch this episode while on my computer. Great episode Joey! Sorry about the vintage store that closed. I love looking at old antique stores trying to find Star Wars goodies. They have that certain smell and it feels like your in someone’s old attic. I once found a Blue Snaggletooth in one and bought it! Boy, was that exciting. I had never seen one before and there it was.

@@thepadawancollectorofficial I too am an avid Star Wars collector but where I live makes it very hard to collect Star Wars figures. I live in Hawaii on the island of O'ahu and we literally have maybe 1 or 2 stores for collectibles but nothing with vintage Star Wars which sucks. All the new figures which come out in Target or Walmart are hard to get also because there is a bunch of guys who also literally go to the store every morning waiting for the store to open and run for the figures and take them all. A lot of my shopping is done online which takes a lot of the fun out of it because I love the hunt in stores. But at least I get to watch it on videos like this. Thanks.

Clorox wipes are really good for removing marks and paint without damaging the figure.

Might be able to use masking tape to take that sticky stuff off the bubble. Its a good trick without damaging anything, just make sure you hold the bubble while doing it so it doesnt remove from the card back

Nice finds in San Diego antique shops, I need to go to OB more (so many traffic lights to get down there). I've found a few vintage SW in La Mesa antique shop before but they were in really bad condition and heavily over-priced so I passed. Painted feet on the hammerhead was definitely a throw-back to my youth as well... not only did the folks do that, but engraving initials on the rear or back legs was also done. The horror seeing those engravings now... haha.

Great score on the Hammerhead & Coin!! The figure will be great for the display for sure. Any consideration to attempting to remove the blue paint? If so, I'd love to see a brief segment on the try & outcome. Sweet RotJ MOC Chewie too. Maybe I missed it, but would have loved to see what you were given for the trade in's. Although the store might prefer you not give that info out too. I wish we had big shops like that here in Iowa that would offer fair trades & had a good selection to pick from. I'm really excited to see your graded figures now that you got them.back! Can't wait. And can't believe it's already been 7 months!!! Another great episode Joey!

Yea I don’t really like to reveal what the shop gave in trades or store credit, just because the prices always fluctuate in the market and I don’t want someone to go down there and try to get the same deals I get. A great way to safely remove old sticker residue is to use a product called "Goo-Gone". Put a little on soft cloth, then rub area gently in a circular motion 👍 it'll give it a great shine as well👌😉
