I mean... you're describing how a justice system works. "Someone judging you who doesn't know you" so you think nobody should ever be convicted of a crime because the judge doesn't "know" him. He isn't being charged for "who he is", generally speaking. He's being judged for a crime he committed. If society worked the way you seem to want it to, facts, evidence, and reality wouldn't matter as long as your bro is there going "yeah man I know him he not like that bro" *smack smack smack* "this young man, who knows the suspect personally, has just declared him innocent! He is free to go!" You don't get to act however you want and commit crimes because someone you know has died. And you would do well for yourself to follow my advice when I say making decisions based on your feelings in the moment is the way the vast majority of convicts end up sitting in jail. Follow the rules when it comes to respecting the lives and property of others and the rules of the court system. It's a super easy, almost sure-fire way of not having to be on the wrong side of it.

Need to learn how to negotiate with that guy. "What's the problem!?" (how it sounded to him) is less effective than "It seems like this is pretty difficult for you" in a downward inflecting, late night FM DJ voice. And instead of him saying "what's the problem!? *I'm the victim"* and getting thrown out of court, it could have turned into him saying "It is, it's pretty hard being in the room with this guy." A tactful accusation audit follow-up of "you probably think that justice won't be served here, you probably think that what you want to happen isn't going to happen and you're going to be left feeling like you didn't do enough" comes next. He'll more than likely say "That's right" or some variation of it. _You got him._ You say _"We're_ here to see justice served and it's going to be a lengthy process for _us,_ if _we_ can't conduct orderly in the courtroom, how are _we_ supposed to manage _our_ time for that?" Give him some time to think, he'll more than likely capitulate, and you can seek justice.

Judges don't negotiate with people in their courtroom. That's not how things work. Billy Badass needs to learn to control himself or he can stay in jail.
@fifthlevelbard95412 жыл бұрын
@@deusvult6920 That seems like its a bit short sighted to me. I'd like to highlight some things; he _is_ a victim. He did just watch his girlfriend get mercilessly gunned down and then he himself get shot for what seems like no reason whatsoever, and he _is_ a star witness. There may come a point where the prosecution may actually need his testimony, and as crazy as it sounds, he may not give it, or at the very least be completely obtuse, all because he feels slighted. Negotiation really isn't about trying to appeal to someone else's desires from a place of weakness- like you're begging the other party to take your deal. Negotiation is a practiced method of how to communicate to reach a desirable outcome. You want to nail this murdering psychopath to the wall and leave him to dry, right? Don't leave any opening. Like Jocko says, "do you want to fight, or do you want to win?" Right now the judge is on an ego trip, regardless if she's within her power and rights to hold him in contempt. She's asserting her dominance. She's fighting. If she doesn't win, a murderer could possibly be let free to kill again over technicalities that could have been shored up by pertinent witness testimony. Sure he's acting like an ass. However he's important to the path of victory. Show him he's acting like an ass so he'll willfully cooperate and everyone gets what they want.

Agreed, but a judge has to keep control, ESPECIALLY in a case like this (with emotions at an all time high). A judge can't have emotional bias for one side or the other, a job I doubt most could do. The best way to diffuse the situation is immediately get parties separated. If not, chances go way up to have all parties involved start in, then others in courtroom jump in or are just stuck in the crossfire, and a few seconds later its utter chaos. The accused killer will get his in due time, and the minor courtroom disturbance charges will be dropped.

These judges forget they cant throw people in jail because someone gave them an attitude their feelings should have no dispute in the court of law and when that happens they should be reminded right away I dont believe this the dude should start a repitishion to have her removed from her duties indefinitely I'll sign who's with me. This is despicable behavior on the judges side . We the people have the power and it's time we all wake up and realize this and take a stand but we have to do it together wake up people and stand together.
