Sheryl Chua you know what they say; there is no such thing as bad publicity. Anything that gets Nu'est name out there is potential profit. Nu'est getting attention gets Mnet views. No matter how we see it, to them it is a symbiotic relationship. Pledis never cared enough, so let's let Mnet promote them. The member contracts will expire sooner or later, I hope they dump Pledis and go together to another company. Produce 101 is at least getting them noticed.

yoon angle You misunderstood my point, i don't think promoting Nu'est is their intention, rather the byproduct of it. I think Mnet assumes that giving them screen time makes their fandom coming back for more. Thus showing Nu'est low-key favouritism gets Mnet ratings. And that as a result ends up promoting the group.

What the person means is that they are pointing out their weaknesses while hiding their talents. For example they showed Dongho, Minhyun and Mink messing up during the reevaluation. It's no secret that they are under so much stress and pressure since everyone expect them to be perfect in every f'n way. Mnet didn't show Jonghyun's reavulation which was so good that he was graded up from D to B and they also didn't show the vocal lessons with power vocal Dongho and honey vocal Minhyun. All C trainees said they expected Minhyun to grade up because he was so good during the training. So yeah, they treat them bad in the show.

Peeps don't forget that Nuest debuted in the same year as EXO, BAP, VIXX, BTOB, Ailee and several others... it was very difficult to stand out when your agency doesn't have enough money or influence. SM drowned every place with EXO promos and at least BAP had a rookie documentary, VIXX did also but Nuest? These poor boys have been struggling since back then, Pledis can afford to help them now but probably thinks it's better to invest in Pristin now. You can't blame SVT for their success, they were lucky to debut at a time when ppl were needing somth fresh and different and they fulfilled that spot. I truly hope Pledis will invest in Nuest a bit more, getting them into variety shows, MCing and promos.

I'm not going to talk garbage about Pledis or Mnet or anyone at this point because I think we as fans are coming together and getting these boys more recognition. We all know they've been done dirty, not being promoted, not getting recognized, being sent away, etc. What matters is how we recognize their talent NOW. maybe im not their fans but ilI do really like their music. It suit my music's taste and I've been keeping their music since their debut untill their latest comeback. It is so sad to know that they are participating in pd101 because they were not successed and almost disband.
