I mean we could of her cutie mark vashied implying her to actually been a changling but since changelings were still known for being evil and only so many episodes till they fight tyireck of course they decided to not reveal flutteshy a changling and rainbow dash might be a changling or at least a shadow pony aka sombra daghouter or granddaughter making her father secretly be sombra and her would of been great especially since rainbow dash mother and father barely around because guess what rainbow dash was as rich as rarity it's just she didn't or never cared about money besides her massive castle like house us her belonging plus she's shown to have massive colot of her main aura and speed follow her color it makes sence why the brash Tom boy thrashes herself in makeup if she gags at the thought of wearing any wear else but her hair it would also make sence for the rose color of her eyes

Is it strange that Luna retires with Celestia? I find it odd that after being gone for so long just ending the career there. getting the chance to “mentor” or co-rule with twilight would have been an interesting dynamic.

I would have loved to see it. And Luna doesn't seem to have ruled that long compared to her sister. She gets banished for a long time and then comes back trying to basically learn how the world works now. Clelstia could have passed the torch down to Luna.

Unpopular opinion Cadence is actually an interesting character, especially in the crystal heart spell. She literally is an orphan Pegasus who gets adopted by an earth pony village, and is loving and has that talent and that stops an evil enchantress and she was the first character to give us a clue that anypony not just unicorns could become an alicorn. I think she has the most interesting backstory however I can understand in a show perspective how she can be uninteresting.

Bold statement but Applejack was so levelheaded and reasonable they had to intentionally write her out of character when they wanted her to be the main focus of an episode. My prime example of this is “Somepony to watch over me”. Never in the show was she shown to be so obsessive and protective of any pony. She definitely cares for her friends and loves her family but was borderline psycho in that episode. “Applejacks day off” also makes her seem almost stupid. She is a farm worker, she would know how to optimize time and see when her methods are ineffective. I’m early seasons her conflicts and lessons seemed more realistic instead of forced. But biased because she’s my favorite of the main 6

You know, I kinda wonder how The Last Roundup compares in those conditions. Applejack is technically the main focus of the episode. While she might have been drastic about it, I don't think it's out of place that she didn't want to disappoint her loved ones and the rest of Ponyvile. Although you could argue that the rest of the main six were more of the protagonists than AJ. We don't even fully understand her motives until the end of the episode. I think it's been said that Applejack works best as a character when she's helping others. I think Mane Attraction is a great example of that. A good protag doesn't nessisarily need to create their own conflict. Applejack's stubbornness initially ruined her chance of reaching out to Rara, but that same stubbornness encouraging her to keep trying and find a different approach.

I always attributed her fear of leaving Apple Bloom alone with the trauma of losing her parents. I remember reading something years ago, someone came up with the theory that the parents left on the same dangerous trip that AJ was going on during that episode. If you're a huge AJ fan then you've probably heard that before lol. But it made sense to me that she was obsessive over keeping her little sister safe since she was helpless to save her parents. Also it's a kids show so the characters get overdramatized for things like that 😅

It's been a while since I've watched the episode, so maybe I'm downplaying it in my head, but I personally think the reason she reacted like that was becuase of losing their parents, she's afraid to lose family like that again, however it might have happened. And it was the very first time Apple Bloom was alone completely. So ehh, idk. I feel like it isn't as out of character as others make it out to be but it FEELS jarring simply becuase we never normally see her like that. Although I agree "Applejack's Day Off" feels really. Odd for her.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, Trixie does NOT deserve all the hate she gets. I feel like she's actually a great character and people should appreciate her more.

I agree, both in canon, and in the community. It really disappoints me when I see people say she's "selfish" and that she "deserved what she got" when those are far from the truth. She had her home destroyed and was ostracized for something out of her control. If Snips and Snails bringing the Ursa to town was Trixie's fault because she said she defeated one, then by that logic if I told a kid santa was real and they went to the North Pole and died of hypothermia it would be my fault. I will die on the hill that Trixie did nothing wrong in Boast Busters. In Magic Duel, however, it's admittedly harder to defend her, but I can't imagine being homeless, shunned wherever she went, and having her new home immediately vandalized did well on her mental state. Her return in No Second Prances especially rubbed me the wrong way. Despite Trixie and Twilight seemingly making amends at the end of Magic Duel, this episode basically throws that out the window. Twilight actively tries to stop Trixie from becoming Starlight's friend, which ultimately leads to Trixie seemingly trying to off herself. I'm glad things did end up getting better for Trixie, she gets Starlight as a friend, risks her life to help the changelings, and becomes a school counselor, but she should not have suffered as much as she did. Trixie was never a bad person, she was flawed and needed help.

We never saw a proper moment for Pinkie Pie to get humbled. The rest of the mane 6 got lessons in toning themselves down reasonably, but why hasn't there been a moment or episode where Pinkie needed to learn that not every situation is a laughing matter. Sure we got the episode where she kept butting in trying to make Maud and Starlight friends but she wasn't causing serious damage there. Or in the movie when she almost gets herself and other killed multiple times but Twilight was unfortunately framed as the villain in those situations. I would've liked an episode for Pinkie similar to how the others had to learn to chill out: Twilight taking Trivia night way too seriously, Fluttershy learning to be assertive but going overboard, Rainbow Dash's pranking episode, Rarity's over-generosity backfiring onto her, AppleJack accidentally being too brutal to the fashion competition contestants etc. There are more examples for each member but these are just ones from the top of my head - but it just shows that Pinkie never got to learn something valuable like the others, Griffon the Brushoff could've been adapted to have Pinkie learn something in that moment but Gilda ended up being the villain, and the same idea was recycled for Rarity in the last season instead of Pinkie.

I think the reason Pinkie Pie didn't get an episode where she learned that not everything is a laughing matter is because she didn't need that lesson. Even back in Season 1, Pinkie Pie was shown to be sad when a situation called for sadness, angry when it called for anger, and confused when she genuinely didn't understand what's going on. For the longest time, she was the one pony with the most varied emotions. Pinkie doesn't usually make light of heavy situations, and has in fact at times been the one to let someone else know when something is serious. A lot of people see Pinkie as the "lol random" character, but in reality, she's very emotionally mature (not perfect though). She's just has a bubbly personality and isn't ashamed of it, especially because, from the start, she usually knew when to tone it down. Plus, there were a couple of episodes where she was humbled and had to learn to reign in her enthusiasm for the sake of others, namely "A Friend in Deed" (Where she herself explains that friends sometimes just want to be left alone, and that's okay) and "Pinkie Pride" (Where she saw that her extremes were costing her friend's happiness).

HOW did she get so popular? Was her “transformation” slow and rough, or swift and easy? Was her manager the only manager she had? How many songs did she sing? They kinda ruined Trixie in the last couple seasons tho imo. I think one of my least favorite episode of hers is when she assumes Starlight is just going to give her the job of vice head mare of the school and Starlight is the one who ends up apologizing for “not telling her” or something like that even tho she literally did tell her multiple times that she can’t just give her the job and that other applicants are in the running. It’s like we’re supposed to believe Starlight has anger issues when really the only time we see her get that angry is when Trixie is acting like a selfish self centered bitch and Starlight gets gaslit to think she was the problem when most of the time it’s Trixie.

Even development aside, along with Starlight, I like that these characters are allowed to kind of be foils to the theme of the show while still being major characters. Of course the theme is friendship, but Sunset, Trixie, and Starlight get to kind of blur that line with the way they interact by being openly snarky, sarcastic, and lightly haze each other in ways the Mane 6 really just often don't. Since not friendships are built the same, it's good to see examples of friendships that don't fit the same mold the Mane 6 have. Same with Starlight and Maud who really just like vibing together, even if their interests don't really align. Most times when any of the main cast gets into a disagreement, they usually have to make an episode out of it instead of them resolving and compromising on the spot. In fact, one of my favorite moments is in "Testing Testing 1, 2, 3" where Rainbow and Twilight take out their frustrations on each other, but Fluttershy sets them straight and they apologize immediately and just move past it and that issue doesn't pop up again. That's so common in friend groups where personalities can clash and it's really good for a show aimed at children specifically to showcase a fight that can commonly happen and the proper way to deal with it right after. We forget the show was trying to teach friendship values for the first 4 seasons, so the moments that highlight good examples are often forgotten. I think season 1 is very valuable because of this.

Unpopular opinion: Princess Luna is the most powerful of the two sisters. She literally turned into a dark evil force that can penetrate basically anything. Celestia only relied on the elements to save her sister. I also think the two sisters should have been shown more screen time, being the literal MAIN CHARACTERS after The Mane Six

In my opinion Rarity has some of the best episodes, whenever Spike doesn't take a major role in them. I love seeing her artistic process and work ethic, it's almost relaxing in a way and her episodes tend to have important reminders for other artists. (Stand up for yourself and communicate when a customers vision is unrealistic, work on things you enjoy so you don't hit an art block, find inspiration from your surroundings, etc.) Also Twilight x Tempest is good but idk if that's controversial.

Unpopular opinion: I think they should have made a side series where Twilight and other members of the cast went on friendship missions that ended up resulting in failures. An example being if they were called to solve a friendship problem between two ponies who are upset with one another and fighting, but instead of solving the issue, the ponies go there separate ways and end their friendship instead of reconciling. I think this would have been a good thing to show, because not every mission or task that is faced can be a success. It would have been interesting to see the mane 6 and other characters experience failure for friendship problems they couldn't fix.

@@DrmikemfIndeed. I think a good example of this could have been presented with Starlight's town. In the show they say all the ponies from her town forgave her, even though a number of them likely had a great deal of trauma from the ideology enforced on them by Starlight. There could have been an episode where Starlight goes back to the town after becoming Twilight's pupil and there would be an air of awkwardness between her and some of the other town's ponies. And when she interacts with them, they tell her their peace and their reasoning behind not wanting to be friends with her, and Starlight, though initially upset and disappointed in not being forgiven by everyone, ultimately accepts their desires, and everybody moves on. It would have been a good lesson to viewers that not everything can be solved with an apology, and even though some people don't hate or dislike each other, they still prefer not to interact with one another due to their rocky history and would be better going their separate ways.

@@summermelody7942Very true, no world is perfect. One of the problems with FIM is that it shows a world where everything works out for everyone in the end, even though that is not how reality works. Of course, we know this show is meant for little kids, but it would have been nice to have episodes teach lessons about the imperfections of the world we live in and how things don't always go the way we want.

I like that idea to an extent, but I disagree with making Twilight and the other cast's missions end in failure and only failure. Doing that will just make the other members of the cast look incompetent while making the rest of the mane 6 look like the only ones that can do things right. What you said at the end can solve that problem and I mostly agree with it. Have the other cast members and mane 6 experience failure. But the other memebers need to succeed too. Even if the mane 6 fails sometimes, making them the only ones to achieve any kind of success will still make the other cast members look incompetent while making the mane 6 look like the only ones who can do anything right.

I think that Sunset Shimmer should've been in the regular series. In the finale we see her in the background when all the characters are shown off, proving that Equestria Girls is canon. Even if it wasn't that often, I would've liked to see Sunset get to know the rest of the Mane 6 and become a part of her own world again. It just felt wrong that after she changed, she never tried to go home. Surely she has family, right?

Sunset is my favorite character, if she actually became part of the MAIN main six, I would’ve felt so much happier. Honestly she adds a flare that Starlight lacks? For lack of a better term. Starlight wasn’t as compelling of a foil as Sunset was to Twilight. Sunset made the team feel well rounded.

Luna probably would’ve made a good stand in leader for Celesta if she actually was more open with her sister, in fact they could’ve avoided the whole Nightmare moon thing all together if Celesta payed more attention to what was going on with Luna 2. Timber wolves could’ve been used and expanded on more in the show, they probably could’ve been a cool creature to learn more about- possibly through Flutter shy or Twilight wanting to study the magic behind them? Not sure if this counts as controversial, but I wish we could have seen more of Ember and Thorax. Their first time meeting in “Triple Threat” gave the concept of them being very good friends an introduction. . .but that friendship all happened off-screen. It would have been fun to see the duo grow in their friendship on screen. The only other time I remember seeing the two of them on camera together at the same time was during the final battle in “Ending of the End P2,” but that doesn’t really count here because there were dozens of different creatures there as well

If it was the goal for twilight to become an alicorn in the beginning, it should have been the main 7. Twilight becoming an alicorn threw off the balance of the main cast. Before it was all equal, then unicorns lost one. This was one issue Starlight Glimmer did fix, where she made it balanced, but she wasn't apart of the main cast because she wasn't an element of harmony. Also I want more stuff with the bat ponies, they were so cool and I'm mad we only got Flutterbat and that's really it. Luna's guards aren't bat ponies, as shown in the alternate reality with Nightmare Moon, they're enchanted Pegasi.

Unpopular opinion: I don't like what they did with Starlight's character. She worked so well as a villain. If she had just had a slightly darker villain origin story than one that downplayed her like her best friend moving away, and stayed a villain, I would've loved her so much more. I feel like she was reformed for the sake of being the Twilight/Sunset mashup we didn't need and for Twilight to have a student. Even when I was a little kid watching mlp, I never liked that Starlight instantly started becoming the new Twilight upon her reformation. I was fully expecting her to become a princess just to complete her Twilight replacement arc.

I actually think the cutie mark crusaders were much better handeled and written than the mane 6. The mane 6 were great in seasons 1-3 but afterwards slowly got worse with flanderization and walking their characters backwards to walk them forwards again, meanwhile the crusaders had their best episode in season 5 when they finally discovered their purpose was to help OTHER ponies find THEIR cutiemarks and mostly stayed in tact throughout most of the narrative.

I've got one! Cozy Glow did deserve the punishment she received. I see so many people say she didn't, but she truly did deserve it! Not only did she conspire with two of the *most impactful villains*, but she also was one of the most impactful villains *herself*. Could she have been taught her lesson and been reformed? Probably. But Cozy Glow affected all of Equestria, and probably beyond. Gave the world the G5 crystals treatment. Opaline is a really interesting character completely ruined by bad writing Chrysalis got flanderized hard in later seasons I'm mentioning this again, but Tempest's redemption arc was better executed than anyone else's redemption arc. Unlike literally all of the other redemption arcs that everyone says are good, Tempest had actual buildup (Sunset is my favorite character, but she's really lacking in that department) to the redemption that wasn't literally five seconds before (looking at you, Starlight). Unfortunately, the rest got relegated to the comics, which makes _some_ people think her redemption sucks. And of course, my hottest take, Tirek is far more redeemable than either Cozy or Chrysalis

I think the main six should have attempted to reform Cozy Glow but as for everyone hating the fact that she is a child, I think it actually sends a decent message across: Children can be evil too. Often times, evil starts as a child and it really should have served as a good reminder that correcting “evil” acts as a child can make a person better as they get older.

Cozy's fate just seems like unfortunate circumstances as her first plan affected all civilizations, leaving only the dragons(maybe) and changelings as most likely to agree with reformation while the yaks may if they trust Pinkie's support and the hippogriffs in a similar way to the dragons, but less so to agrer, but the griffins most likely wouldn't unless Gallus could get them to. The second point could be worked around, but given that the offer of friendship and its values is usually how reforming goes, they'd have to determine and change Cozy's view on friendship and make sure she's not just using them for her next plan(kind of like the idea of Starlight doing the same after the season 5 finale).

All we know is that her cutie mark implies her talent, who she is, her destiny, is LITERALLY manipulation. The red chess piece has A LOT of symbolization. This is a fairly far-fetched theory but, a theory I have is that Cozy is not the age she appears. She could be an older pony that still LOOKS like a child due to that being... who she is. She manipulates others. Being born to forever have a "fake" appearance of someone who is innocent. It feels very fitting. WHY she was born to have a destiny of being evil is??? Confusing. The fact she is never shown to have parents is ALSO very strange. I just realized something about King Sombra and why he's so OP in the Crystal Empire. And that his subjects are crystal ponies and from what we mostly see of them they're basically crystalized earth ponies. They have no magic, and can't even fly! So even if they decide to plan a revolution against him it's still normal crystal ponies AGAINST a unicorn WITH powerful magic! And even IF there was crystal unicorns they'd still need both dark and light magic to use the one of crystals in the throne room and on the door! And from what we know of dark and light magic it seems like ONLY the highest levels of unicorns and Alicorns would've been able to use that type of magic!

Yes, I agree that Roseluck is a better partner for the Doctor! Controversial take: Unicorn magic in G4 is WAY too strong. It throws the unicorns out of balance and kind of pulls the rug out from under the other tribes (levitation stronger than earth pony muscle, teleportation faster than pegasus flight). The fact that only a few unicorns reach that power level kind of makes it even more annoying, like the 1% is baked right into pony biology. And on that point, it bothers me to no end that all of Equestria's rulers are a pony type that doesn't exist in the population. I *demand* a democratically elected earth pony president ruling Equestria. I won't settle for less.

I disagree but I can see your point, somewhat. First thing first for the Alicorn leader thing, Alicorns represent ALL pony tribes, so it's not far fetch to make them the leader. And most of them NEED to earn their alicorn-hood for accomplishing 'great worthy deeds' - quote from Rarity, for Flurry Heart's case she needs to prove herself worthy of becoming a ruler, or else she'll forever be a princess in title, no more. But also yes, Unicorns in G4 is pretty overpowered, I can imagine just Starlight and Starswirl alone are enough to wipe out stacked armies of any other pony tribes. One way to balance it out would simply to make the other two tribes have very powerful representives as well, like a pegasus with the flight power far exceeding Rainbow Dash, able to fly so fast that it's like they're teleporting, or an earth pony so strong and invincable that not even magic can affect them.

Casting a spell that ruins your friends' lives and then fixing it isn't exactly a wonderful thing. Plus it kind of implies that only a unicorn can ascend to become an alicorn, which in turn just makes everything worse. That's also implied by the fact that Celestia (and Twilight once she becomes the ruler) spends all her time in a unicorn-only school. How did that not strike anyone on the writing staff as problematic??? 👀 Cadence's backstory from the chapter books does somewhat mitigate this problem, but of course it was never referenced in the show. Rainbow Dash and Big Mac are examples of pegasi and earth ponies who take their tribes' abilities to the extreme, and honestly, I wouldn't really want them to be any stronger than they are. Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom is cool enough, I really don't need her moving like the Flash or something. And the Hulk but an earth pony... like, this is MLP, not a superhero flick. I would be much more favorable to nerfing Starswirl, Starlight, and all the other astronomical unicorns rather than buffing a few pegasi and earth ponies.

Cadence's origin as a non-unicorn was mildly implied in the show (though this is just probably me overthinking stuffs). First, during Twi's flashback about her, the scene when she cast a love spell, Cadence closed her eyes tightly and then proceed to be proud of herself afterwards, implying that magic wasn't her strenght (A unicorn's special talent shouldn't hard to translate to their abilities, seeing how Rarity could levitate bunch of stuffs in the air for her fashion purposes, meanwhile Cadence's acting like she's still learning about her own magic) which wouldn't make sense if she was a unicorn before being an alicorn. The same could be said in the first Sombra episode, she's exhausted to the core by casting the spell somehow manage to fly her way to rescue Spike and the Crystal Heart at the end, again saying that magic and spells aren't her natural talents. She's often seen using her wings and legs more than her horn, which striked as odd to me because I thought she was a unicorn before until I learnt about the book. For the only unicorn school thing though, yeah I don't have a counter for that, and honestly only now that you mentioned it... Yikes. ... Wait hold up I take back whatever I said- If Twilight was MEANT to be a princess because it's her "destiny", is this implying that ascending to become an alicorn is not something you can accomplish but have to be "destined" to have??? Dont' get me wrong Cozy Glow did became an alicorn but at the same time, it wasn't because she was destined to but rather something she acquired by force. If say any random pony, just literally ANYONE, a random earth pony with a flower as their cutie-mark or whatever, dreaming and aspiring to become an alicorn one day decided to set off and accomplish great deeds, but because they're not destined to become an alicorn, even when they checked off every single possible box on the list, they will never become one. I think with Zephyr Breeze his fear of failure is what makes him try and give up multiple things. We see him trying to dig deep into himself to finish something at the end of the episode and how much it pains him. As for his behaviour, that's harder to defend. But as for human Flash Sentry, one way they could've given him more would've been exploring him as an ex of Sunset's(it's an idea from fanfics, but the idea does at least bring in points to expand on both before pony Twilight went to Canterlot High and how they might have changed, which unfortunately, given the emphasis on backstory, may have been a story point if EQG got to address to what happened to human Sunset Shimmer).

my opinion, as much as I do love the Kirin, I feel like it would've been better to expand upon some of the more ignored species in the series rather than add a new one, there's a lot of missed potential for world building with stuff like the Centaurs, Minotaurs, Zebras, Breezies, Kluge town, Abyssinians, Diamond dogs, Whatever the storm king is, hell even donkeys and mules, but sometimes it feels like they just add elements to the world building and just forget to expand upon them or only have them for a one off episode.

Here's my unpopular opinion: I feel like the Grogar twist could've worked if A. The real Grogar showed up and stayed as the big bad while being the one to reveal the twist by using the bell to drain Discord's powers, as well give the Cozy Glow, Chrysalis and Tirek the redemption arc they deserve B. Have Discord realise that he's the reason that all the stuff happened in season 9 and have him try and actively fix his mistakes but also face consequences for his actions. I'm not saying he needs to be turned to stone again, but having where everyone including Fluttershy finally loose their trust in him and think that he can never change since he AGAIN helped one of the villians take over Equestria (though unintentionally this time) could be that push to fix his mistake and grow as a person. And C. Have the twist be revealed much earlier so we can build up to the real Grogar showing arc and have time for Discords arc to be paced well I think the twist could've been good for Discord's character and show that he can still make mistakes even when he doesn't mean to hurt anyone but it failed due to poor execution and rushed pacing

Celestia is an irresponsible ruler. Unpopular opinion: the fandom tends to analyze the lore of the show wrong and only decides to understand it when its convinient, one great example of this is EQG that is based on the theory of multiverses (being the type 1 very rare in MLP and EQG being a type 2 and 3 kind of consideirng the temporal anomalies) and on the Reflections comics of MLP, and people claim is a direct copy of the FIM universe when is not, considering the Dazzlings are older than Celestia and Luna but they are teenagers in EQG, there is no human Sunset, Starlight is older thsn the the girlx in EQG even though they are all the same age in MLP, and so on, like is a distorted timeline and NOBODY talks about these importsnt points, and just says things like: "is just MLP but human duhhh", when is said that if two universes are the same in MLP with little to no differences they crash and cease to exist, unless one of the universes compensates for it woth things that do not make sense, like in Reflections, when Derpy is the element of harmony with Trixie, Chrysalisand others, but the majority of bad guys in there are good in FIM and vice-versa, though Derpy nor Hooves were never evil in FIM, but in there they are also good, mesning the universes DO NOT dorectly mirror each other... They analyze the show without even knowing the lore and it just pisses me off. And this is coming from somebody that doesn't even like EQG, but just decided to do a quick Google search to see if I could piece the pieces together.

The chosen age group tends to be odd as Sunset should be older than Twilight and both are teenagers despite the kind of lives the Mane 6 have being closer to adult ones and as you mentioned, the Dazzlings should be way older than that(it's still kind of true, but the cancelled part of EQG apparently was going to address human Sunset Shimmer). The parallel points feel offset a decent amount by the human focus in the EQG universe that counterparts to main characters seem possible(to push for story if nothing else), and at least for human Sunset, if it did cause an unbalance, it would give pony Sunset a difficult choice for the sake of that world.

Because it's a multiverse movie, and that's the point of multiverses: making no sense IS the only consistent thing in there. People are analyzing the show as if it was a direct parallel to EQG, when that's not the case, and that's the problem. Going to say this as a Rarity fan (but also just liking the unicorns in mlp a lot just rarity being my favorite) i wish we could've seen more magic in the show (especially considering we got to see some of rairty's "gem magic" or when she made that shield that was shaped like a gemstone in the finale I believe) it could help expand the magic element for not just the Unicorns but the world of Equestria. Idk if it's controversial either, but my take is yes, he caused more damage overall, but not proportional to the time he had. In a single afternoon, before he was reformed, he had corrupted the wielders of the Elements of Harmony, had turned Ponyville (and presumably parts of Canterlot too) into the chaos capital of the world, and had turned countless citizens into functionally dogs with cartoon physics for his entertainment. While he did manage to cause a lot of problems after his reformation, it seemed like a once a month thing at most. Seems like he spends most of his time just chilling in the chaos dimension doing whatever and only screws with the protagonists on his days off. Especially since everybody seems really surprised to see him at all the first couple of times he shows up.

You always have respect for everyone’s reasons and opinions, and even though you may have different opinions, you always point out why you have and why others may disagree, and you never say someone’s opinion is dumb or strange, like many other KZbinrs. I appreciate that. A lot. Also I agree that Rainbow Dash is a very interesting pony. She is extremely loyal, and the fact that she is full of herself, is always decreasing as she keeps learning to put others first. All that ‘coolness’ and ‘awesomeness’ and ‘ego’ never interrupts with her friendship. And when it does, she always sees it and understands it. It’s what I love about her. I also love a character who has confidence in herself, but not too much confidence, and someone who is able to accept her mistakes graciously, and also who protects her friends even if other ponies don’t like them.

Okay hear me out: I think they could made made another season or at least a proper epilogue series. They had so much lore built up and they could have explored it a great deal more! For example, why do princesses need to be alicorns, (to sell toys is not an acceptable answer) What was the full gusty the great story? Could the real Grogar still come back? Changelling lore? And of course crystal empire lore. There are so many things. They could have also achieved this with less “filler” like episodes but with mlp even those can turn out to be good episodes.

Right!! I think it would be interesting to see the Twilight rule while still being a unicorn. It would be nice to see her find a nice way to make Cloudsdale accessible so she can connect with them. Because honestly, how would your body know that you all of a sudden need wings so you can go and rule this city on clouds?

I'm not sure how controversial this is as it tends to vary in various parts of the fandom, but I firmly believe that Cozy Glow deserved a second chance and should have received a happier ending. My reasoning is that Discord got away with an absurd amount of things and so did Starlight and Tempest, yet they were reletively quickly forgiven for most of those while Cozy was never so much as offered a second chance and no attempt to reform her was ever made. It's downright bizzare how our heroes were willing to go to so much lengths and forgive so much to those adults, especially Discord, when they literally gave up on Cozy after only basically asking her "why". It is hugely unfair all things considered. It was also vastly overkill to put her in Tartarus as she has no super powers or anything. A house arrest could have held her. It's not like she's that amazing of a manipulator either as seen in Frenemies. Really, she's just a kid who happened to get the best possible help to do evil deeds. They also like to point out her motivations, which is wanting power, but I still find that a better reason then Discord's, which was just toying with ponies for his own pleasure. I also do believe she can reform, or at least change enough to not try to do evil and illegal deeds. She just needs time and patience, the same Discord got. People often like to describe her actions to justify her punishments, but really, they are no worse then what the reformed villains did and frankly, Frenemies showed that she could have the potential for true friendship and maybe even enjoy helping others with her talents, plus in Marks for Effort she clearly felt bad about framing the CMC like that, which while admittedly very little, is still more redemption potential then what Discord showed in Return of Harmony. I would also say the same for Tirek and Chrysalis, but I'd rather focus on one character.

I don't know how teriek can be redeemed but there's a little bit showing that chrysalis can be redeemed. As she's basically doing it to feed the hive. And she's pretty angry that starlight found a better way of dealing with an issue (she didn't even think they had) and in her mind, she probably thought her drones saw her as an inferior leader. I dunno.

8:20 Never mind what Twilight has done with library books; it's her FRIENDS who ought to be in trouble with the law because of how badly they TRASHED the Galloping Gala. Think about it: Rainbow Dash knocked over that big, expensive statue that could've CRUSHED somepony, Fluttershy set the local wildlife on a rampage throughout the premises, Pinkie Pie was veritably harassing the musicians by interfering with their performance, Applejack was selling food on the premises without permission and presumably without a permit, and Rarity made a fierce enemy of a member of the royal family. All five of them should've at least been taken to court and put on trial following the events of that night.

Eh, it helps that the physical goddess ruler of the country who would likely be responsible for doling out said punishment is fond of inviting guests specifically to make the gala "more interesting." Yeah, they should be charged for crimes, but I think it's in character for Celestia that they haven't.

My opion I think flurry heart being born an alicorn was a bad decision since her mother was made into one so is her aunt twilight and luna and celestia and i feel like i think flurry would be born a unicron and she could become an alicorn like coming of age and i feel like if they made flurry a born unicorn it would make a good spin off series about the next gen of ponies and we wouldnt have to deal with the horror that was G5!!

@@thinkwithvideos2238 While true, the mentality of everyone I've met that happens to have a fear of failure is that the more you try, the more painful and life-destroying the failure feels, especially since they tend to collect whatever they perceive as failure as "evidence" of their lack of worth instead of learning from them.

I feel like zephyr has both laziness and fear of failure. They are two separate problems, but they go hand in hand. I went through a difficult time where I didn’t wanna do anything because I feared messing up and being rejected by people. Once I starten to not do as much because of my fear of failing, I started to not even want to do my laundry, brush my hair, etc. Obviously you can’t really fail when it comes to basic tasks and hygiene, but I just started to become tired all the time because I wasn’t really doing much. I wouldn’t talk to my friends a lot because I was worried about saying something wrong and ruining our friendship. I basically just isolated myself because I was so scared of failing, and then the tiredness and laziness came with it. Idk lol but I’m so much better now.

@@Drmikemf To summarize, you feared failure, so you didn't try, which naturally made you fall into depression, and the rest are just typical symptoms of depression. I personally have warned so many of my friends that fear of failure attracts misery. It's odd how many people with fear of failure just come into my life. Glad you are doing much better now.
