Well one could discuss this for hours: fabulous mixing, guitars locked beautifully together, keys just rolling it along, drummer deep in the pocket, always focused as great drummers are on the "one".... but then there's Nicole....in front, on the backline, in the middle of the mix....Fellas: great job...but this one belongs to the lady with the bass....fantastic, all! Thanks so much!

Ok, I am playing my nerd card here but that drum groove in the halfway point makes me think of another funk groove from the late 70s. When Meco did his Star Wars Disco album he needed to fill side B on the LP. He brought in a street drumming group and put his disco orchestra on top. Your drum groove brings me back to Other Galactic Funk from side B of that album.

It’s SOOO much fun to stumble onto a new cut (new to me) and be hooked from the first beat. So many times jammed with my buddies real late at night for two or three hours of random crap something bubbles to the top and in the moment when it’s golden everyone knows it at the same instant .. we harp on it for a bit, refine it tune it repeat it and a brand new riff is born, we all smile and grin like parent looking at a new baby … so many of those random riffs have been the seeds of brand new cuts ….. I love seeing creative people having fun and writing great sh*t. Thanks for the big grin all over my face …. HOT STUFF
