Ryan’s guitar playing is so refreshing. He never over plays and always plays the exact amount to make the song better.

@@potterj09 hmm, probably not. Prince recorded Batman album all by himself, playing everything. But I am curious about that part. I will listen now

Wendy's an absolute legend. Love how Sean and John are taking care of her. Looks like she's learning the song as they play it. Her face when Sean cues the stop at 2:03 is priceless.

I saw that to. I am Impressed with how she jumped into a song she didn't know, followed ques from her feelow mucisians in real time and they all made it work. Real pros at work.

Glad DRH is getting some bigtime front-manning cred. Been keeping track of him since the 90's. Never quite sure why his solo work or the Brand New Immortals never took off (was lucky enough to catch a couple of their shows in Atlanta).
@theloniouscoltrane3778 Жыл бұрын
As much as I admire DRH's talents, he does not have innate CHARISMA. Most of the time, especially in the music/entertainment industry, charisma is key.

Wendy wasn't only part of Prince's original band, The Revolution. She was the one who did the intro to Purple rain!!!! Prince found it so amazing that he let it as is. Prince NEVER did that that I know of - my dad had a brief stay at Paisley park and I worked with a singer, Mona, who was buddy with Susan Rogers (one of his sound engineer) and I never heard of him not compose and control every single part of a single by himself. He would've have the band jam, but that was very very special!!! Wendy is a genius and a legend!
