Let me introduce the Starboard Zen range of inflatable paddle boards so you can choose the best one for you. To my left, there are the iGo 10'8" x 33" and 11'2" x 31"+ iGO Zen boards, and to my right, the Touring 12'6" x 30" Zen.
First, the iGO 10'8" x 33" on my left, is perfect for beginners. It's the most stable board because of its width and length, which makes it suitable for beginners of all sizes and weights. The iGO 11'2" x 31"+ is next to it. This board is 6" longer and 2" narrower, making it faster and more glide-friendly. It's also ideal for smaller paddlers as they can hold the paddle closer to the board edge. These iGO boards are suitable for all-around use.
If you're into expeditions, go for the touring board, which is designed for cruising and touring. It has enough volume in front and back to carry gear and is narrow for fast gliding and speed.
All boards in the Zen range are built with linear knitted drop stitch and 2000D galvanized rails for strength and stiffness. They have a rear kick pad for practicing turns, d-rings for a shoulder carry strap, and bungees for carrying gear. They come with the Starboard double action V8 pump that pumps on both up and down strokes and has a deflation function. They also come with a compact backpack for easy transport.
