Rest in Peace, Bo Wagner, and forever be remembered as the greatest xylophone player on the face of this earth. Words cannot describe the enormous difficulty involved in this absolutely phenomenal solo he does in this fabulously recorded and filmed segment - and Bo handled it with expertise and timing beyond belief, despite his obvious debilitating health issues. I honestly believe that the Lord dropped down for this very special moment and made sure above and beyond Bo's incredible talent - that he was not going to let anything go wrong in this truly wonderful moment for Bo and the group and the many awe struck fans and onlookers that were most fortunate to be in the audience......THANKS so much for all you gave the world with your beautiful and most memorable musical abilities, Bo !!!.

@@gchance what do you mean? How’s it derogatory?
@gchance Жыл бұрын
@@skr8674 It was coined to make fun of soft rock, because they talk about water and boats. It's far from a term of endearment, it's akin to "hair metal", which is just as derogatory.
@kramaleravАй бұрын
@@gchance Actually..the derisive "yacht rock" term originated in 1987 when one (I forget which) rock journalist used it to describe Pink Floyd's A Momentary Lapse of Reason-an album that was written and partially recorded on David Gilmour's houseboat Astoria. I do love this song, but it would not be a stretch to call it that since it seems yacht rock is older than its name.

The first time I heard this song was the summer of 1976 at the Balcones Woods pool cabana in Austin, Texas in 1976. A suburb of small suburban tract homes. The younger brother of Elvis Presley’s producer, Felton Jarvis, lived across the street from us Starbuck was a horribly underrated band. They had many great songs and should have been in the top 40. Bruce Blackman is such an easy-going, down to Earth southern gentleman just like the late Paul Davis. Both pop singers, but totally southern at heart.
