Eh Stevie ? Lindsay slayed it with Mick coming a close 2nd. Amazing instrumental set. L.B. is soo underrated as a guitarist. He’s right up there with the likes of Clapton, Prince, Hendrix et al IMHO
@maryduan Жыл бұрын
@@patstocker3658 There is no denying Stevie’s impact on any number of things: Her voice, her aesthetic (which was so copied by girls in my high school days that I can’t even) and her talent. Lindsay is…how to put this politely…sex with a guitar. Vastly talented, in voice and in musicianship.

F.M can only be one of the very greatest bands of all time.... Their songs are timeless, their musicality simply beyond any rational experience...Lindsay's guitar work has to be one of the most unique in style ever!! ...the vocal section is just a fairy dream with the rhythm and bass section simply 'untouchable' in the 'world' may I humbly add..Their presence and Christines keyboard presence is something us muso's can only dream about..... Song writing, vocals presence demeanour image and sheer unadulterated talent togetherness and aura go cap in glove with Fleetwood Mac....Take this band to your hearts because when the mould breaks .....it will be the end of music! Lindsay Buckingham’s solo is superb but the drive from John McVie and Mick Fleetwood’s bass and drums is what raises this song to another level. It may be almost fifty years old, but nothing comes close.
@josephferguson93102 ай бұрын
Yes, Stevie, Lindsay, and Christine are great, but after listing to these great songs for nearly 50 years, I am more intently listening for John McVie's bass and, yes, Mick Fleetwood's drums. They tie these creative geniuses together.

@@trustnuthinman5778 Hard work? The best songs from bands were sometimes made and recorded in 5 minutes. The beatles said that. For electronic music nowadays you need to be half engineer nowadays (knowing the softwares inside and out. Also mixing and mastering). I'd say it is as hard as learning an instrument. It used to be alot easier to create music!

They were all on their A+ game that night. Words cannot describe this. You believe every word of what Lindsey is singing and it seems here that Stevie is in awe of Lindsey. Not sure Stevie was in awe of Lindsey. Probably more reliving the fact that the song is written about her and dealing with the fact that it's a great frickin' song, even though she's painted in a terrible light.

Silver Spring is the perfect companion piece to this song. They each take a turn telling each other to fuck off. Although, in this one, which is Lyndsays song, Stevie jumps in and sings the lines she hates the most RIGHT BACK AT HIM. Makes the song better as far as I am concerned
