Artists are only rewarded in the music industry if they're willing to sound exactly like everyone else during the current pop culture trend while creativity is perpetually mocked & rejected by l society BECAUSE they're rejected & mocked by labels. Everyone on the radio sounds exactly the same now and if she makes it, she won't sound any different either. I know, I've been signed to 3 labels and got out of the BS industry. It's infuriating to watch so many bands of INCREDIBLY talented musicians get shut down time & time again while simultaneously witnessing millennial hipsters & gen-Z artists with no unique energy or creative ideas being praised & worshipped by not only the label owners, but by the masses of clapping seals.
