I want functioning grocery stores in the sims 4 so bad! I feel like it is so easy after a while to get money in the game, and it would be cool if we needed to buy ingredients to get certain recipes, even if it was just a rabbit hole and we got to select from a menu like in the sims 3. I doubt it is coming, but I think it would be fun!

Another way to make “multi propose” lots is to use the retail system!! Use one single lot to be an electronic shop, book shop, bakery etc. And the best part is that it will be 100% funcional!! So your sims can go shopping for furniture, buy some clothes and then relax for a bit at the bakery without a loading screen!

Apartments yes, beachfront I don’t agree with. This is supposed to be like central and northeast LA (it looks like the areas between Hollywood and Eagle Rock), maybe even a bit East Los, so there isn’t any beach.

I would love multifunctional lots in sims4, like shopping centers where this all works at the same time AND townhomes that are on the same lot being treated as separate “apartments” or units so you can move in sims to individual townhomes with separate gameplay though instead of the chaos of 4 townhomes and them all in each other’s houses

What I do is have at least four houses on one lot and I click the “lock for certain sim” and lock everyone who lives in the lot except the homeowner so no one can get it there except the owner, So I mean you can sorta do that but it S really difficult

They both have their wonderful unique style to build their creations, and that's nothing less, than an awsome thing. And that's why I like them both in a same way. I loved this build!!! my one 'thing' is that the registers in the grocery store are closer to the back of the store than the front so technically the sims would have to walk past the registers to put their groceries on the 'conveyor belt'

Love these builds, I'm definitely gonna have to download it! In california too, but northern. At least in my county, everything is still pretty much shut down. There are things supposedly opening back up next weekend, but with how it has been going so far, they're probably gonna extend it again as long as they can. I think the thing I miss most is going to the movies. I'm a Disney nerd, so I was looking forward to seeing Mulan and what they changed in the remake. I also miss being able to go and sit down and restaurants instead of just takeout. I just miss the environment of them.

You did such a good job! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time, and I always get lots of inspiration from your builds! I kinda had an Idea, perhaps you could build a movie theatre in Del sol valley! It would be kinda funny to watch the celebrities go to the movie theatre and watch there own movies😂 you could even make a sim, who is super into themselves and goes to the movie theatre all the time to watch there own movies.😁 good job on this build I hope one day I’ll be able to build like you!

I absolutely love this! Yes I wish EA gave us a grocery store and home delivery like TS2. For the food to restock it has to all be set for sale and the lot has to be a retail lot, so I hope you’ll make a dedicated grocery store in your save. Looking forward to the next update. Also hope you’ll replace all the toy cars with debug cars 🚗 in the save.

Del Sol Valley definitely feels strange without a restaurant! And I agree that there should've been a Santa Monica district. It's too bad because Del Sol does have some cool things in it, like Mirage Park being a genuinely rundown neighbourhood which we still don't have much of yet. All those fake houses taunting me there are so bad though lol

Loved this build (as always!)❤️ In Scotland we’re still in total lockdown with only essential stores open, not sure how much longer that will go on for. I’m meant to be coming to California on vacation for the first time in September and I’m really hoping everything will be back to normal by then!!

Srsly sims has a cooking over haul mod for groceries and you could use littlemssams lot entrance fee and sims could pay to come here like they have a gym membership. I'm so excited 😁

In my town there are things like cafes and there's a bike shop open and a bit more but still not alot most of my town is still in the red zone but some is in the yellow zone. I love your videos because they help me figure out how can make my save different and I also love the builds.

I'm in South Carolina. So far we're basically 'back to normal'. The stores are opened, restaurants are open at 50% capacity, I just got an email saying the governor has reopened our athletic fields, for soccer teams and such, gyms and movie theaters haven't reopened yet. And we're still homeschooling.

Del sol really needed at least two apartment lots. Like one with high end condos for established celebs and then one thats fancy but still low key for up an comers. Just how aspiring actors move to LA in the sims they move here. It would also be cool to have another lot with ratty/old apartments so you can progress through the stages. Also, there def should have been a big neighborhood of big fancy homes for like a celeb neighborhood deal.
