I'm from Germany as well and you might be surprised how many nothern, western and eastern cities also have that kind of style for houses. Maybe it'll be only in the districts called Altstadt, but still. It shows a lot of history! :)

Not really being able to go out, I just kept imagining myself here since it really has this stunning yet realistic look to it and honestly brought me a lot of joy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone build a community lot of this style and detail, so this is really amazing. I hope this video gets more love; it deserves it!

This build is absolutely STUNNING! I haven't watched KZbin in ages, so I've completely missed so many of your videos! I'm obsessed with how you have your game looking! It's such a gorgeous look & makes the game look totally different! I'm just too lazy to figure out how to install that specific reshade because according to the Tumblr post I'd have to use an older version of reshade & I'm just too lazy to get all of that to work 😂

that little carpenter's shop kinda reminds me of the antiques shop from the studio ghibli movie Whisper of the Heart, in the movie this old man owns it and he also repairs antiques, but because he's retired you never know when he's gonna be open, i feel like the owner of the carpenter's shop is probably an old retired man or woman who only opens the shop when they feel like it and that's why you can't shop there when ever you visit the lot

Something you can do when making a build like this is upload it 3. Once as each lot type. Ofcourse anyone who downloads the lot can save it to their library as all three lot types. But that's an idea. And you can plop down a lot while your sim is on the lot, you just have to make sure that the retail version isn't owned.

That really woudl be totally pointless as you can change the lot type as soon as you place the lot in the world

@@Karaetify try doing that with a lot set as retail and see if it works. It won't. You have to have a sim own it set everything for sell every time you run it as a retail lot and then go in that household and sell it every time you want to run it as anything other than a retail lot. The other way is way faster and less work. And whoever downloads the lot can decide what version they want also.

You can hire up to two chefs, but you need two chef stations to utilize both of them, so your kitchen is perfect :)

Real Quick ! I stumbled upon your page a while ago and was like “how does this girl not have more of a following??” Like you’re so amazing. Then I did some research on what simmers want to see. I think if you incorporate some modern builds into your videos that your channel will take off more. Like if you make a non “ cluttered - cluttered “modern house, I think that video will really take off. I love you so much and I hope you’re doing amazing 💓

I wonder if there is a mod to make community lots have multiple types? If not i hope someone can figure one out or that EA/Maxis decides to add it in a patch. Cause that would be sooooo useful especially with there being so many lot types that make sense being on the same lot. Like a cafe/restaurant/bar makes perfect sense. or can you imagine being able to make a Museum with a gift shop where both are fully functional?

I dunno about multiple types but there's a mod that at least makes sims do stuff associated with different community lot types. LittleMsSam has lot traits that add "preferences" to a lot, aka stuff that sims will do autonomously that they wouldn't trend towards doing without it. Like there's one that adds bowling as a preference if you want a restaurant/bowling alley for example. She also has other lot traits, like ones that affect the dress code.
