I think you're wrong, unless you're in a small city or around the counteyside, most workers and students have the capacity go to a near campus starbucks and hit it off instead of spend a bit of time to find a local shop, people are lazier and they prefer waiting 20 minutes for a coffee instead of a best quality coffee. Starbucks has definitely gotten complacent. I used to be a frequent customer (because I lived in a suburban hell where small business was a myth) but lately everything just tastes so mid. The staff aren’t very nice and they frequently mess up my orders, the recent remodels make the place feel like a hospital emergency room, and I’ve been to a few blasting their millenial ass Disney playlist while I’m trying to get my work done. For my coffee now I’d just rather drive 20 minutes out to a local shop since it’s worth it on every level.

I think the pandemic killed Starbucks bc people had to stay home and began brewing their own coffee when they realized that is was a lot cheaper and tasted better they never went back

I think the key will be it's inside and lounging area. I go to Starbucks to get on the Internet, study and occasionally work. I think this draw differs Starbucks from other coffee shops along with its rewards program and availability. CosMcs will have to refine these aspects to break into Starbucks market in a considerable way imo.

I used to consume too much coffee to the point that my limbs are shaking. I took Vit B-Complex, corrected sleep and whatever, but removing coffee was the right choice. To think that people actually pay an overpriced coffee on a daily basis and putting their health at risk is just crazy...

The worse it's gotten the more I've learned. I went from doing nothing to gardening, brewing, baking and breeding my own crickets, as well as developing crafting skills to make items I can sell. It's funny. They're doing all this to make us helpless and a lot of us are just angrily learning how to do it ourselves as we recognize NO ONE ELSE WILL DO ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE and still somehow expect you to pay your first born and all your limbs for a less than half assed product. Make your own coffee. You can even freeze ready made coffee and thaw/ blend it if you like cold coffee. You can buy flavored coffee syrups if you like it sweet.
