Hi Lisa. I love your starching technique. I started using it and my accuracy improved greatly. Thank you. ❤️

Wow I sure appreciate this video. I see now that I need a bigger space to get my fabric totally open - so 48" long. I have been starching for years on an standard ironing board covered with a towel. Off to Home Depot!!!

Have you ever just used dilluted stayflo liquid starch in a sink ir basin and just dunked and hung up to dry? Id think for lon yardage it might be easier. Any pros and con to that?

I purchased a similar one on Amazon, actually bought two. Metal frame and very sturdy and folds for storage.

OMGOODNESS I never thought to buy a spray can prayer. My hands always swell up, hurt, and are stiff for days afterward. I bought a yard spayer and mix liquid starch and water. Then pump it up and spray! It cost about $6. However, I spray front and back. Thanks for a new way to try!

Do you need to press the fabrics before you spray?

I don’t iron before I starch because the fabric gets very wet so it wouldn’t make a difference. If my fabric was crumbled up in a ball I might, but for folded fat quarters I don’t. But, if you wanted to take that extra step and iron you could to see what you prefer.

What foundation are you using to lay the fabric on to starch it?
@jeannegiebe27188 ай бұрын
I just use an old large towel. Easy to wash after.
