Jules Romero nothing would have actually changed if he did that. The grim lavamancer would have chumped and everything would have played out the same, just post combat instead of pre combat. Playing precombat is likely better because you have more information about what reid is planning to do.

I make them go through it too. Because I've tricked someone before playing beck elves. I told them my win con was walking ballista and they scooped. While actually, it was craterhoof behemoth. Next game they play slaughter games or something similar and name walking ballista, of course that card wasn't in my deck and they wasted a card.
